Pass on this one. Apparently even with Prime, I can’t return this after unwrapping it, but I couldn’t see how cheap it looks or smell how toxic the odor was until unwrapping it. The mat is possibly the cheapest looking aspect. The glass is impossible to get streak free, even with a good glass cleaner and microfiber cloth. The frame was splintering as I tried to clean the class. The frame itself has an incredibly toxic, chemical odor that I don’t want it my home. The frame construction seems reasonably sturdy, but that doesn’t matter given the issues mentioned. Wish I could have my money back. ... show more

I haven't had great luck with buying frames on Amazon, a lot of times they're dollar store quality and 8 to 10$ for smaller frames. Took a chance with this large frame and was very pleasantly surprised. The box came and it was HEAVY...I opened the box and was impressed with the quality of this frame. This is a solid wood frame. I bought another version of this frame and hung it on the wall using heavy-duty command picture hangings strips (2x 8lb strips). Within a week, the frame was broken on the floor. The screw-in fixtures that fixed the backing into the wood frame had broken, and the back panel had fallen apart from the frame. I received a refund. I purchased this frame as a replacement. I double-checked all the silver fixtures to make sure the screws were secure and then hung them using nailed hangers. Fingers crossed, it doesn't fall off the wall this time. ... show more

    • Hanging Hardware is junk

I purchased three of the 24x36 frames, they are heavy which is what I expected since it’s glass. The hanging hardware is not good, at all. The saw hooks are small and don’t stick out far enough to hook on to the nails that they provide. They are also not installed to the back of the frame secure enough to support the weight of the glass. I had two fall off and had to use wood glue. The clasps around the frame stick out further than the saw hooks, so I was constantly catching those on the wall trying to hook the saw hooks, thus scratching my wall in multiple places. I had to go to Michael’s and buy d-hooks and install my own hardware. If this was easier to return, I would have, but the packaging was already throw out and they wanted it packaged like it came, so I didn’t bother with that headache of finding a box and securing the glass. ... show more

The frame itself and the glass look okay. The actual backer board, brackets and hanging hardware are cheap. I'm not even sure the hanging hardware will hold it on my wall. The frame seems too heavy for the tiny pins and Hangers that were sent. Not thrilled with the product. The tiny screws and screwdriver are a pain to deal with. Overall a flimsy product. ... show more
