Can't see in can't see out but lets the light in. Blocks the visual from the alley right behind window. Dark view shows from outside at night with lights on (we do have metal grating on the outside of the window). Very happy with this film at a reasonable price.

I was disappointed when I received my order. I specifically chose this item so I would have the installation items advertised. However, the only thing in the box was the privacy film. I need to get this installed ASAP, so I will probably end up purchasing the installation items locally and this purchase will end up costing me significantly more.

I have a big bay window in my sitting room. It let's in such beautiful light every day through sheer curtains. During the day no one can see in due to the sheer curtains. However, by evening and night if there's light on anyone can look in and we would t even know it. The sheers keep us from seeing out when it's dark and allow anyone to look in. My teen started having nightmares about a man watching him through the window and it creeped me out. So I out this stuff up and another Thicke set of sheer curtains to male sure we get good natural light while maintaining our privacy. So far this works. It's not the easiest to use imo. It doesn't always adhere as I'd like and it leaves little bubbles. The smaller ones I can poke with a needle and essentially squeegee the air out. Sometimes larger bubbles happen because water doesn't tend to stick to glass in every spot, so there will be air pockets that are lifted. It led to me taking a long time to finish the windows. 2 weeks actually, of me spending a good hour and a half on a length of window (8 in total). Thankfully this roll had enough, and I like the end effect of it well enough. All in all, after all the time spent on it and the finished look...I give it 3.5 stars. I think there are likely better products out there and I'll be looking for them to do my kitchen and bedroom windows as well.

I have an arched window in my bedroom that gets the early morning sun that shines right in my face. The window produces a lot of heat as there is no window coverings. It looks nice I have an arched window so installation was not the easiest to do. I precut it to make it easier to install, use lots of water and clean the window really well. I like that it let a little light in the room not total blackout, it will also help with my cooling bills.

I loved how easy this is to apply to the window. I measured and cut what I needed and it was so easy to apply it didn’t take me long to do several windows. I unfortunately ran out of material to finish my garage door but will get more. Only thing I’m finding difficult is that there are still some bubbles on a couple of the windows that I can’t seem to get out. Otherwise this product was easy and provides the privacy while also still allowing light in

I ordered the AWXD Frosted Glass Window Film,Window Privacy Film with Installation Tools to put on one particular window where my territorially-obsessed dog likes to sit and stalk. This film is truly private. I'm very excited to say my dog cannot see other dogs and people walking by at this window anymore. She's been quieter and has stopped sitting at that window - she sits in her bed now. Applying it was easy. The window film comes with the tools you need for installing it - they really made it fail-proof. Great privacy film, great price.

I love how this isn’t just film but a full kit that includes everything you need to properly install it. The film is translucent enough to allow light to pass through but makes for a great privacy level for bathroom windows and other areas.

This review is for the AWXD Frosted Glass Window Film,Window Privacy Film with Installation Tools, Sun Blocking Heat Control Anti Glare Window Tint,Static Cling Removable Window Sticker for Home Office (17.5" x 118"). It arrived in its own box with instructions. If you have never used this sort of product, you may want to use a couple of test strips first and play around to get a feel of how this product works. I highly recommend you clean the glass surface like you never cleaned before. Any dirt/oils will defeat the system. Size and trim to go over the whole glass if small or a corner if very large. You're trying to get a feel for this product so play with it. Peel the backing, spray a lot of water on the glass, apply it and use the spatula to squeeze out the air pockets. Do that a few times, and you'll get the knack of applying with the least amount of air pockets. Once applied, walk away. The water will eventually dry, and the product stays in place. Having said all that, this product works fairly well. It handles and cuts easily and applies to the surface without much fuss. Privacy is a concern. The closer you get to it from the inside, the more people will see you from the outside when dark. Ten feet away, and the light is pretty much diffused but up close, like a foot, they will see you in great detail. Have a friend stand at various distances from the window at night and go out and see for yourself. It is a good product with privacy to some extent, as intended.
