This shower curtain was a little more expensive than most, but SO worth it. The design is beautifully woven into the fabric, it's THICK and weighty and feels and looks luxurious. I would not use it without a plastic liner though, as the fabric is a bit water resistant (the inside is sort of satiny so water does bead on it) but far from waterproof. I also would not expect it to be quick drying considering the weight of the fabric. If you live in a very dry climate it would probably be okay, but using a plastic liner is no biggee. It seems to be a little longer than my old one as well, so my tension set shower bar had to be moved up a bit. That and the weight of the fabric mean the bar needs to be REALLY secure. Excellent value for price. I got matcha green and the color is spot on to the pictures. The material is very soft and thick, feeling very durable like it could last a very long time even after washing on delicate. The materials texture is accurate to how the photos look. The liner has a good weight to it, comparable to a lighter throw blanket, but not too heavy for my tension rod. The lining is completely opaque and has no smell to it. I like how this particular color is opaque enough to not let any light shining through, so taking a relaxing shower in dim lighting is achievable. So far very functional! ... show more

I haven’t hung this yet but it is so nice and great quality. It looks like I may have to steam it a little to get a few creases out but those will probably fall out from shower steam. I’m a little OCD though! It’s heavy and thick. It’s not a cheap shower curtain. I am very happy I found this after looking for so long. It’s for my sons house. His guest bathroom. I like it because I wanted to have fun decorating the bathroom but I know he wouldn’t have liked anything that looked feminine. I bought the sage green and I’m going to decorate with some small artificial plants and hopefully he will be ok with me using a little terra cotta color. ***Update*** I hung my shower curtain and it hangs so nicely. It’s sewn nicely on the bottom corners so they aren’t sticking out. I will add photo! I wasn’t sure if my son would let me hang cat pic on his wall in the picture but surprisingly he liked it!!Looks cute with boho shower curtain. I returned this, but only because the color ended up not going with the shower tile I chose (the color was exactly as pictured, but my tile was not). It was thick and heavy, but still soft. Nice heavy, thick, beautiful seams, nice color. It says that is antimicrobial which to me means that it can get wet without a clear liner but it does absorb heavy amounts of water I still recommend putting a clear liner on the inside
