    • Rugged and does the job, some minor QA issues
Firstly this thing does the job it’s designed for well - it’s rugged and balanced, with no bowing or wobbling. No issues loading it up with 100+ pounds of gear. … however, I can’t give it 5 stars because of a couple of qa and shipping issues - the most serious issue is that the packing material is inadequate. 16th inch weak foam wrapped around it and then tightly packed into a form fitting box. Mine arrived literally falling out of the packaging. I got lucky though and no parts were missing. There was some minor scuffing to one of the beams that was hanging out of the packaging, but a bit of sharpie concealed the scuffed paint well enough. They do give you plenty of mounting hardware for your rack devices, however, it’s weirdly inconsistent. 3 of the screws didn’t fit the plastic washers and there were 2 more nuts than screws for some reason. The two slats that cross the e bottom aren’t attached with hardware, they literally just lay across the bottom frame and slide back and forth. There’s not even any mounting holes for them. I fixed this by just using some 3m double sided tape to hold them in place so it wouldn’t move when I laid my pedal board on top. ... show more

only thing you need to really watch out for is once you get it full of equipment is when rolling it around, so you don't tip it over, and for that is why I only went 4 stars, otherwise outside of that well for later I got other plans for it,,,,,

NOT the product's fault, but my first one never made it to my door because the packaging came apart and it was undeliverable. Took them two weeks to figure out where it was. This one arrived on time and in good condition. Assembled super easy in just a few minutes and the hardware is/was good quality. You CAN strip the hardware if you crank on it- so no need to Rambo the bolts in it... I regret the purchase mostly because I think I'd rather have just a rack on wheels and the articulating top is really of no value to me. I thought I could make it work in my application but once I saw how it goes together, it's no bueno. I will probably cut the angled top off and get plastic caps to cover the holes. The rack section from the top can be used for something else. The worst part- the casters. They're terrible. Maybe on a industrial carpet, fine. Any bump at all will hang it up, like a tiny zip tie, any cable of any size, etc. If you don't need wheels, hardware stores have threaded feet that fit on this- I'll find some much larger casters and put 'em on. ... show more

    • Know that 12 spaces is more than what was required. Make sure.
I needed this for use in my home recording set up. 16 unit spaces is plenty. If I were to use it to go on site I'd recommend fewer spaces. Great quality rack. Easy assembly.

I was a little reluctant because this didn't look all that sturdy and my power amp is pretty heavy. The instructions are not as clear as they could be, but the images with the text make it very easy to put together. Once I got it put together and mounted my mixer, power conditioner, and power amp all my doubts faded away. It holds all of these things quite well and I have no qualms adding more equipment to my mix. ... show more

Nice sturdy rack. Great seller. The rack holds all my gear in a very neat and tidy manner. Rack is fairly heavy duty. I have it loaded up and it rolls freely and doesn't feel wobbly. Like others have said, be careful torquing down the bolts too much because if you over tighten, you will start to collapse the tubular steel. Just snug up the bolts and if you are worried put some loc-tite™ on them. You can't beat the quality for the price. I would prefer round, threaded mounting holes versus square holes with clips, but for the price I can live with it. ... show more

I really like this stand, rolls smoothly, steady , you can put all your equipment with confidence that won’t fall , the only thing I didn’t care for is some of the scratches this thing came with other than that I am happy with it !

Awesome! The portability and versatility of this rack are just right for my gear. And it included an ample supply of mounting hardware. Some washer were missing, but that's minor compared to its versatility and the availability of mounting hardware.
