I bought this set in order to save some money during the already expensive ppl. My CFI tried as well and he states are better than 400$ headset. In other words those cheap headset are doing their job. Especially during the learning you don’t need expensive one. Good noise cancellation but not too much in order to still feel the engine.     • Short mic boom
For the price, the overall quality of the headset seems fine. It does a fair job at insulating against sound and, despite feeling a bit plasticky, is comfortable to wear. The biggest issue would be the microphone boom. It is a bit short so it isn’t very easy to get it to set against my mouth, and it sometimes doesn’t hold its position incredibly well. It’s quite cheap for a flight headset, so all things considered, it does its job, but if aviation is your full time job/career, I would recommend upgrading. ... show more

As an Avionics Technician I used these headset to perform audio checks on commercial and general aviation aircraft, practically daily. The are lightweight and comfortable with noise canceling and excellent clarity. I prefer these over the more expensive David & Clark aviation headsets, that seem to be heavier and harder to maintain. ... show more
