Decent headset, decent price
I have been a pilot for 20 years. I have always resisted expensive headphones exceeding $1000. Seems like marketing hype for a sort of personal device. I bought this Airvoice headset and really have no complaints. Not much difference between these and Bose for my flying.

Very good alternative
I bought this set in order to save some money during the already expensive ppl. My CFI tried as well and he states are better than 400$ headset. In other words those cheap headset are doing their job. Especially during the learning you don’t need expensive one. Good noise cancellation but not too much in order to still feel the engine. Very comfortable as well. ... show more

Great for beginner pilots and beyond
I was worried about these because they were cheaper than the ones I was recommended by other aviation students and professionals but man they are great!! They are comfortable and the sound quality is comparable to the Bose ones I used to have.

Short mic boom
For the price, the overall quality of the headset seems fine. It does a fair job at insulating against sound and, despite feeling a bit plasticky, is comfortable to wear. The biggest issue would be the microphone boom. It is a bit short so it isn’t very easy to get it to set against my mouth, and it sometimes doesn’t hold its position incredibly well. It’s quite cheap for a flight headset, so all things considered, it does its job, but if aviation is your full time job/career, I would recommend upgrading. ... show more

Best product for such a low price.
I bought this for my PPL training trying to save my money and I couldn't be happier. My CFI has told me I sound clear. The noise cancelling works well and the headset fits very comfortably. I highly recommend this especially if you're trying to save. Thanks!

Great value for price
Not the best in the market but definitely a good price

Comm's cut out, mic isn't right, CFI couldn't hear half the time, not idea, not recommended
voice cuts out half the time, cfi would miss my comm's to him or only get part unless the mic is literally perfect and pretty much against your lips. Not ideal and Id send back but in the middle of lessons, Id probably not recommend buying if you are not using them just as a back up. If you are at a towered airport you certainly wouldnt want these ... show more
