The SDC BB family is a simple, attractive, and versatile series of A/V stands and tables, in multiple sizes. BB in the model number indicates that the stands have Black legs, and Black tempered glass shelves. The high quality, easy to assemble stands blend with virtually any decor. The SDC1400CMBB-A supports flat panel TVs up to 65". The black tempered glass shelves and black legs modernize any space while the angled corners allow the stand to be placed on a flat wall or in a corner to maximize space and enhance viewing angles. The lower shelf can accommodate up to 44 lbs and is great for DVD player, Blu- ray, cable box, satellite tuner, DVR, speakers, Apple TV, Sonos devices, etc. While tempered Glass is stronger and safer than ordinary glass, it can still break. It may not be the best choice for use near active children. Installation is kept neat via the built-in cable management with entry and exit points along the length of the central panel so all power and connectivity wires can easily reach the equipment in an organized, tidy fashion. Wide-spread feet are becoming more common on TVs. For TVs with this base configuration, please measure carefully and compare to the dimensions of these TV stands to ensure the TV will fit on the TV stand. TVs with traditional pedestal-style base will fit on this stand with no issues. If you are unsure, it may be best to purchase a replacement pedestal base for your TV. AVF offers, pedestal-style TV bases for sale separately for TVs up to 65” if needed.
