Used on my daughter's curly hair, which gets very dry. I used conditioner on her hair first, rinsed it out. Proceeded to put this on for the 5 minutes it suggests. Her hair came out extremely soft. I added the Aveeno Oat Leave In for added bounce. I think this brand did something good for curly hair. It's been a long journey of curly hair products with me and my daughters. My hair is dry when I thought to try a good leave in conditioner hair mask of another brand on my hair. My hair after using it, it was so soft and my hair felt nice and looked nice. I thought since then, to use hair masks because my hair loves the past mask I used. I remember I had this mask and so I thought to use it because of my past mask worked very well. I used the (aveeno almond oil hair mask deep hydration) and it made my hair brittle and dry. I was shocked. I did use this mask a while ago, like 2 years ago, when I bleached my hair and it was so damaged that I didn’t see any thing good when I used it. So I thought okay my hair is damaged so maybe that’s why it wasn’t working. This time when I used it, I was thinking it was gonna help me since the other brand worked and this is a deep hydration mask that will work better. when I got out of the shower, it was bad, my hair felt dry and rough. I haven’t bleached my hair nor dyed it in about 4 to 5 months. I have not used permanent hair dye. So it can’t be because I dyed my hair or bleached it. My hair didn’t feel dry nor brittle until I used this mask.the other mask felt nice because like I said, I had used another brand hair mask, This mask dried my hair out and when I touch it, it felt like I am touching a nail file.So, I worried about the dryness to the point that I might want to use that other brand hair mask in the hopes that it will help me reverse this hair mask to make my hair soft and moisturized again.
