I cannot overstate how much I love this blanket. This is the best thing I have ever purchased on Amazon. My SO can produce copious amounts of liquid when she is well satisfied, and can do it several times a session. In the past we’ve laid down a large, thick bath towel, but it always soaked through and we slept in a damp bed. Not anymore! This thing was almost as big as a full sized bed. It’s heavy enough to stay put most of the time, although we did have to straighten it up a couple of times when things got strenuous. It’s not exactly soft, the layer in the middle is heavy and stiff, but it had plenty of give to be comfortable. It feels almost like velvet. It had a tag, so she was happy to find a clear top/bottom, not that it would have mattered. Boy, did it work! We ended up in a puddle that was clearly visible, but it didn’t soak through at all. I retained enough energy to lift it by the corners and carry it straight to the washing machine. The next morning we ran the washer, moved it to the dryer, and we were ready for the following night. It washed up just fine, no problem yet with shedding or fraying or really any sign we had ever used it. I found this by accident and bought it as a surprise and she was highly appreciative. She showed me that appreciation the second time we used it in a very generous way. If this is an issue with you and your lover, I highly recommend this item. I scored big points with this, if it had fallen apart the second night it would have been worth repurchasing for the third night. ... show more

Purchased for amorous bedroom activities. Was surprised at how soft it feels. It's has the softness of a felt type and a bit squishy like a neoprene material. We wondered if we could leave it on our bed all the time but that won't be the case. Not really something we would want to sleep on all the time. The shell material is super soft, and it is much quieter than I expected from a waterproof blanket, no crinkle sounds! It is truly waterproof, I recommend partnering it with a towel if you're expecting a mess, since the blanket itself doesn't absorb anything. Overall, fantastic product.
