I searched for a long time to find a beautiful Advent wreath. Then I can across this. After a process of elimination with my wife, we finally decided to buy it for $45.00. Growing up, the traditional Advent wreath never really meant much to me. I didn't understand it as a child. That's why we thought this art depicting the Holy Family would be easier to understand for my five little kids. Right after our purchase, the price went up to $59.99. Supply and demand, I guess, during the Advent Season. :) We just received the item in the mail and ... WOW! It's so much heavier and larger than I imagined. And the design is really spectacular. I tend to be a critic when it comes to Catholic art - but this is really gorgeous. I could not be happier with my purchase. My wife now wants to buy these for our family and friends - but then I showed her the price. She said: "Ouch! That's kind of expensive..." Yes, but honestly, it's worth the price. My husband got me this for Christmas. Obviously I will not be using it during Advent this year but I will be prepared next year. It is even better to see in person. I absolutely love this, especially because it depicts the nativity as well. If I had to make any changes to it, I would include a larger white candle to light on Christmas Day. I was very impressed with this, photos can’t do it justice. I spent hours looking for a different style- I usually prefer something a little more shiny and metallic but I am so happy with this purchase. The gold accents are prettier in person and it is great quality. It’s sturdy and thick and such a perfect centerpiece. I can’t get over how much I love this. This is a very unique design, and the details are beautiful. However, the quality isn't the greatest - one of the candle holder 'cups' detached the first day. Over all, it worked and it fits nicely in our minimalistic house.
