I was starting to second guess my night vision when my last pair of LED headlights wore out and the optometrist confirmed my astigmatism be a limiting factor as well. This pair of low beams is the perfect solution for me. The lumens rating is high enough, 24,000, without blinding other drivers. Although it's tough to see a definite outline of the lights' pattern cast an aftermarket lens is not needed.. Finally, I can see the potholes on the freeway before I feel them at night. Very easy install and these are actually very good led's. I had to replace my Katana's after 4yrs, each one had a led that would randomly turn on/off. These are not as bright as the Katana's but pretty close on visibility at night and these do not require you to remove pieces of the led for installation or finding a place to secure a power block. I'm happy with them, now let's see how long they last. More later

These are a very white light. They seems to pretty much replace my tradional bulbs with these special ones. Have not drive with the brights on yet. But the low beam works great. Fit fine on my 2000 Toyota Tunda with H4 lights.

I really like this style of led bulbs, they're closest to OEM fit as can be. The low beam on these is excellent & of course far brighter than halogens. High beam much brighter & better illumination than halogen but the beam pattern seems too dispersed/spreadout. There4 everything is lit up but somewhat dimly so. Most of the time I prefer using low beam cuz it better beam pattern lighting up the road brightly in front of u. Only use highbeams if I'm somewhere really dark with no street lights of any kind or on long straight roadways. If highbeams weren't so spread out I would've given 5 stars for sure. Installed in '95 Ford Explorer xlt, I did require & sent for the resistors to keep engine light from flickering on/off. They sent them free & they worked, fixing the problem.

Purchased these new headlights for my 2012 ford escape. Should be an easy 5 minute install. Took me about 20 minutes, had a hard time removing the old headlights ( almost thought they were melted into the socket / housing ). Anyways just be sure if your like me having a hard time, it may be easier to use a pair of Vice-Grips or something , as your fingers may hurt when removing the old light bulb from the socket , and instead of plastic the LED's are metal, so its a little more rough on the fingers when trying to tighten into place. ( This is probably why they provide gloves ). Other note , sometimes when the old headlights are really stuck on there, and you eventually get them removed, you will notice a rubber gasket ring, normally red or yellow. Make sure you Remove that, as these new LEDS ( just like any other new headlight ) have there own new gasket. Had a fun time trying to figure out why I couldn't get the LED in all the way. also be sure to clean the socket a little, and the housing as well with paper towel to get the dirt out of area. makes it easier to slide the new headlight into headlamp, also keep in mind there are 3 tabs, and 1 tab is a little larger than the rest, providing you the ability to install the LEDS right the first time ! LEDS must Shine Left & Right Sides, not up/down or diagonal.

So I replaced the whole headlight housing on my Xterra because the plastic was old and foggy. I put these bulbs in instead of the stock bulbs. I drive in remote areas fairly often, not very often at night but once in a while. I just got back from a trip across Nevada where I spent half my time driving between midnight and dawn. WOW. These bulbs on high beam light the whole world. I can see reflectors on the road at least a mile if not 3 ahead of me. The light on the road and on both sides is very bright. On low beam the road is really bright and both sides are light up. I have never been flashed by a driver with the lights getting in their eyes. If anything, I would like to adjust the bulbs up just a tad but I am at the upper adjustment so cannot do this unless I tilt the whole housing with a shim which I am thinking of doing. If you want to see a dark road far ahead, these bulbs do it.

I've bought so many brands of bulbs over a decade. Most bulbs beam patterns are just terrible. These bulbs though, ARE AMAZING. The beam pattern on both sides is perfect and even! That's just in my Cavalier with basic reflector lenses! Honestly, these have the best beam pattern out of any LED I've ever had BY FAR. Well worth it and will definitely buy again!
