    • Arrived quickly, gaskets and fasteners not usable, "direct fit" claim is a loose term
The converter down pipe is too short making it contact the heat shield on the 2002 Honda CRV, bending said shield was necessary for clearance.... even then the torque movement of the engine produced intermittent contact, An 18° top flange reposition and a 1inch pipe extension before the factory welding process would help. My second purchase of this converter (2005 CRV) I was prepared for the same challenges but to my surprise this one went right in (looks to have been retooled) although the fasteners and seal posed the same uselessness (but the price cant be beat) ... show more

I was a bit concerned but it bolted right up. My cat was stolen and this was a direct bolt on fix. 2002-2004 CR-V

    • Didn’t pass E-check.
This converter would not let my car pass E-check. Ended up repairing and using the old one with new O2 sensors and it passed. Echeck authorized repair shop said it didn’t have enough internal parts to burn the unused fuel. Delivery was great, but I missed the return window by a few days and, I’m sure Amazon would have let me return it. ... show more

    • buy different brand less headaches!!
buy oem donut gasket - manufacture/production line defect, internal diameter too small!! converter itself comes with 3 oxygen sensor holes but 0 o2 plug to cover one up! will leave you with exhaust leak/extra trip to store to pickup o2 plug. workmanship not perfect, converter rubs on underbody. spend a tad extra for less headaches. simple bolt on ended up taking 3hrs to sweat and swearing!! ... show more
