* These fit like OEM (just make sure you either use or discard the back pop in piece that is on the top outside snap in) * No others boot up this cool - The DRL does a little dance when you first turn them on (I know it may sound silly but so sick looking and I get many compliments on it) * They are setup to be DRL style, not true DRL (just like most others); but easy to hack. They are setup for plug and play and why. So the parking lights need to be on to trigger the DRL style. I found the trigger wire and cut it (it's between the DRL brick and the OEM bulb socket) and then taped off the socket side of the wire to keep it from shorting, then use the brick side wire to run to a unused part of the fuse box (under the hood) that is hot/12v when the key is on and tied into that. You can also use a fuse tap. Either way, now anytime the truck is on, the DRLs are on and look amazing, day and night. Do yourself a favor and convert the head light to LED too while your in there. Lastly, if the pair does come with the 3157 parking/turn bulb, still buy a Sylvania 3157NA so you have the correct color amber, it looks so much better. In closing, these look amazing, work well and I am so happy that I got these, verse others that look the same, but do not work the same. I got them on sale, for $20 off, but would pay full price in a heartbeat after knowing what I know about these. Now I just need to get the CERAKOTE Step 3 wipes ( you can also just but the CERAKOTE Restoration kit and not use STEP 1 and Step 2) to help them last (as with any headlight) ... show more

Easy install on my 2004 Ram 2500 diesel. Nice fit and looks great. You do have to use the park lamp socket that came with the lights as you can’t to lock the OEM socket as the large area on the OEM socket is in a different spot so you can’t twist/lock it.

These lights impressed me. perfect fitment (they dont stick out like the pictures from the review left by Julio N. he just didn't install them correctly, these come with extra plastic inserts on the top mounting pegs in case your stock ones are loose, if you do not remove them, the light will not sit flush like his pics) very bright DRL, the Switchback DRL/Turn signal works awesome, ZERO modification needed. plugs right into your factory wires. BEAM ADJUSTMENT works great. very cool start up sequence too! 10/10 would buy again for any 3rd gen RAM 1500. ... show more

05 Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 w/Hemi 5.7. Fit nice. Look nice. Brightness ok. Slightly better than my stock ones once adjusted properly but not a major difference. BE SURE TO FULLY TEST BEFORE INSTALLING. I thought I did, but I failed to test the blinkers with the headlights ON at the same time. Didn’t work correctly. Apparently the turn signal bulb sockets are not exactly configured like OEM. Had to completely remove the assemblies and swap the bulb sockets and reuse the factory ones. Just happy they fit. Very satisfied after resolving this one issue. Note that I purchased these in 2019. Just now getting around to installing them. ... show more

Both of my Headlight assemblies on my Dodge Ram 3500 were fogged and dim... I thought I would try these and the price point was good... I found them to be of good quality... They did not come with the bulbs, but they do come with bulb sockets... I replaced my old halogens with extra bright ones, and the result was very good... They are crystal clear and look great on my truck... One point, you may have to take out the old plastic sockets on the truck that snaps the headlight assemblies in because the new assemblies come with them already installed... I broke them out with a over sized flat bladed screwdriver.... Looks great! ... show more

Bought these to replace the old glazed over headlights for a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500. Overall, fit and finish is good, However I had a few issues: Problem 1. The included rubber seals for the headlight to grill was the wrong size. At least for my model year. I'm sure they might work on different year model. Mine were too small, but no biggie. I just reused my old ones. Nothing to hold against these headlights, but that wasn't main the issue. The issue was that 2 of the retaining posts for the seal were broken off on one headlights and about 2 or 3 bent over on the other one out of the box. I still managed to get the old seals to fit but if I were to take them back off, the posts would definitely break. Problem 2. Retainer clip for outer back edge to fender broke while trying to take them off after a second refit. I just used the old clips from the old headlights. They popped off and stayed in the fender while uninstalling them. This made them easy to reused. Problem 3. Light bulbs loosely fit. Reading about a previous review on these headlights, they used a big o-ring. I could not find any at my local parts store, so I simply just used an old inner-tube and cut them out to shape. Now the light bulbs fit snug with no worries about them becoming damaged or damaging the headlight housing. Problem 4. Headlight aiming and pattern. The projected light pattern makes them hard to align. I was able to align them up and down, however on the passengers side headlight, I could not aim them left to right. Turning the adjustment bolt would simply not move the headlights left or right at all. Not sure if stripped out or what. Hopefully they are ok when I get the truck inspected next year. At least they aren't up high and blinding oncoming cars. Overall, they look great for stock replacement. Just a few issues with quality of plastic and functionality of its parts. Would be 2 star rating, but bumped it up to 3 because they do look good and they do fit. Just be cautious during the install and be prepared to face these issues.
