  • Great price for rear overload vehicle springs
Style: 85-96 F150 RWD rear
I got these rear overload spring/shocks for my 1994 Ford F150 P/U due to the facts that (1) the shocks had not been replaced for the 15 years I've owned the P/U AND (2) I'd been hauling 1500 lb (+) loads to the dump for several months after there was a structure fire on my property, and the P/U was starting to lean a bit on the left rear side. After replacing the old worn-out shocks with these new overload spring/shocks, I noticed a much better ride, plus the left rear section of the P/U bed stopped sagging. ... show more

  • Better than I expected
Style: 01-12 Escape front
I was worried that I was making a mistake buying cheap parts, but these were easy to install (thanks to YouTube), and it’s like a whole different car now. Think I damaged the axles in the process, but that’s on me. Replaced the driver side axle since, with just the passenger side axle next week.

  • Great product
Style: 04-19 Titan front&rear
Installed them on my 2012 Nissan titan and experienced some squeaking after the install. Thought it was the shocks ( it wasn’t )but after a few days it cleared up. No more squeaking and the ride is smoother

  • Super easy to install but has broken twice now. - Update, potential easy fix
Style: 04-13 Mazda 3 front
Second update. After having replaced these struts twice I was pretty frustrated. The customer service provided has been excellent giving me the choice of a third set of struts or my money back. I chose the latter. Afterwards I found on a Mazda repair blog that this problem may have a VERY easy fix. If your struts are banging check the central nut on the top of the strut tower holding the spring - yes the one you are not supposed to touch. There is a good chance its worked itself loose. Retorque it to about 45 ft-lbs and see if the noise goes away. I am pretty sure this was my problem all along. Update: I am currently on my second set of these struts. Both times its been the left strut. The first broke after only a few weeks and the second having been used only a few months is now banging in the same manner. The company was super nice about sending the first set of replacements (no charge) but that dosent' change the fact these struts are fragile. I am glad I am able to do the labor myself but if I was paying for the work I'd buy a different set. I put these struts in my 5 a few weeks ago. I'm not a professional, just a shade tree DIYer. The shocks went in just like the YouTube videos said. Be sure to pry open the clamp on the steering knuckle a bit and use lubricant to make installation easier. For me the job took an hour for the first side, 45 minutes for the second from wheels up to wheels down with nothing but basic hand tools and a hydraulic floor jack. Very straightforward job, no problems. Time will tell if the shocks will last but so far so good. Ride is fine, similar to stock as is ride height. If you have a 5 with blown struts these are a good choice. ... show more
