Everything perfect except moisture buildup in the directionals. Looks slick I ended up putting in all LED’s. Take a look at the pictures and judge for yourself. I put the hazards on to get an idea what they look like (directionals). 2001 Tacoma Order some extra grill clips here on Amazon because you’re bound to break one or more. I had a couple broken before I even started. Watch YouTube videos on removal of the grill clips it will make it easier to remove them and definitely line them up when placing grill back on. It was nice not to have those faded, barely any light coming through and old looking lenses.

Parts came in packaged well, everything seemed great except the drivers side bumper light wouldn't clip in due to some molding issues. Tried to reach out for a replacement through Amazon but they instead directed me straight to the seller's website, but the email address on the seller's website is apparently not a valid email. So I am at a dead end and will either have to rig it in myself or buy a new one. Sad, and seems to be happening more and more on Amazon.

I bought these from Amazon warehouse, and discovered right away why they were returned. The little plastic bushings aren't great quality, and can allow the light assembly to wiggle a bit after installation. Therefore when you go over bumps, you may see the light beam bounce around. If I wasn't able to fix this, I would've returned them also. However, I spent an extra half hour or so, and using a heat gun to reshape one of the outside mount bushings, was able to tighten it up. I suspected the inside mount bushings might loosen up over time, but fortunately I was able to remove those from the OEM and use them on these. Now they're mounted nice and tight, and look great. Although I got the black trimmed ones, they don't look bad even though my grill is chrome. Speaking of grill, do yourself a favor and order replacement grill clips in advance. They're about $2 each or less, and you need 7or 8.

Overall, these are nice looking lights. I took off 1 star because of two issues: 1) A few of the plastic clips that hold the main headlight to its bracket would not lock in place so I had to use the ones from my old headlight. Some clips were grey and some were milky white (not sure if this matters). I swapped out one clip because I had a tiny bit of play in one of the headlights and the movement seem to be coming from the clip moving inside the headlight bracket. After making these adjustments, the headlights were tight. 2) I also had to file part of the headlight bracket where the large grill clips attach (see photo). It looked like the molding of the bracket left a bit too much material when compared to the old headlight bracket and I was afraid that the large grill clips would break when I tried to push them into the bracket. Photo shows the left side filed, I filed the right side as well. I did this to both headlight brackets and had no issues with assembly. Because a few of the reviews claim that they had water condensation in the lens, I ended up injecting black silicone caulk into any seams that I felt like water could enter through. This may not have been necessary but I wanted to be pro-active to prevent water from entering since my factory turn signal lights and blinkers both had water trapped in them. I posted pictures of the finished product. My old lights had chrome trim. I like the darker color that these have. It would probably look even better if I exchanged the grill out for a black one. I haven't had a chance to really test these in the dark yet but considering the cloudiness of the old headlight, I feel that I am going to see an improvement. I am using my original bulbs for now but have new ones on order. I will try and post an update once I get the new ones in and adjusted. Even with the extra work I had to do, I would buy these again because I would have spent hundreds of dollars to replace with a factory set like these. Update: I just purchased some OSRAM Night Breaker headlights and after adjustment the light output from the lens / headlight combo is definitely an improvement. I also wanted to mention that this set of headlights were packaged very well in individual boxes.

Woke up on my last day in my old apartment complex and noticed that someone had hit my corner signal light. Used tape to make sure it didn't fall out while driving and searched for replacements. Found this kit and decided it was time to just go ahead and switch out all the light fixtures. Really pleased with the new fixtures. I don't work on trucks at all, although I have dabbled with fixes that I believed I could handle. This was easy to install, the hardest part was taking the front grill off to get to the headlights, but very doable. Only tools you'll need is a socket wrench and a Philips head screw driver. Also, some patience if this isn't your normal thing to do. I haven't noticed any condensation in the fixtures yet, as some have mentioned, but it has rained everyday since the install. I recommend getting this kit if you are on a budget and wanting to get your old truck a new look.
