Would we recommend this product to others? Yes Installation there was just one issue during the installation would like to let the other customers know when buying the product they may need to do this particular adjustment to the light may or may not. The lights are plug-in play minus the one issue that’s listed here. Yes, the back end of the headlights not the lower lamps the actual headlights themselves the right side went in plug and play on the left side the actual holes that the lights fit into one of them was a little too small so we had to drill it out a little bit it wasn’t a big issue but if one doesn’t have a big enough drillbit or maybe a file, it may be a little bit of a rougher installation for those people. So to be exact one of the holes was a little too small and that was for the headlights themselves the upper light lenses only the lower light lenses fit perfect plug-in play but on the upper light headlight lenses as stated above, you may have to widen the hole just a little bit One of the holes which for us it was just one light. The left light was a little too small and needed to be adjusted a little bit larger. I hope this information helps others when buying the product again we think the product is a good product and they are really good price and we don’t have any other issues. After adjusting the hole, the right headlight lens opening it fit right in. Other review stated they had a similar issue. ... show more

No fitment issues of any sort on my 2007 Silverado Classic. Nice that they came with new gaskets/seals for the turn signals and DLRs too. Well packaged for shipping and socket housing all had paper seals to keep debris out prior to install. All the sockets, headlight - turn signal - side marker - and DLR fit snug in the housings - no trimming or forcing required. Housings only - no bulbs included. Time will tell how durable these are but have been on the truck for about 5 weeks now and no signs of moisture intrusion or condensation. Aim was off a bit on the passenger side but easy enough to adjust. Truck is 17 years old so did not want to break the bank and these fit the bill perfectly. The black outline lenses really go well with my darker colored truck too (so says the wife). Very satisfied so far. Will try to remember to update in spring on the durability. ... show more

    • DON'B BUY: Good Looking BUT Horrible Light Reflector Pattern Optics

I have been buying these Amazon type headlamp enclosures with parking/daytime lamp lower enclosures for my 2004 Silverado for the past 6 years. While they only last about 18 to 24 months before they begin to discolor or peel, they are a great bargain at about $80 for 4 light enclosures, when GM wants almost $400 for only the 2 headlamp enclosures. As the GM lights only last at best 5 to 6 years tops and as these are very easy to replace, you can't beat these lights from Amazon. My truck does not fit in my garage. I have ordered 3 of the headlamp enclosures with the yellow reflector side markers since 2013. However, I decided that this vendor's headlamp enclosures with clear side marker lights would look sharper on my newly repainted truck, and they really did look good. HOWEVER, when I went to aim these lights at night, I discovered that the design quality of these lights were severely lacking in the light distribution patter optics. I use VERY high output LEDs on my truck so it is even more important that the low beam lights have a clean even distribution with a reasonable cutoff to avoid blinding oncoming drivers. UNFORTUNATELY, the reflector optics are so bad on these lights that the light output is all over the place. There is no way to aim these lights to avoid blinding oncoming drivers. As both lights had poor optics, it is not a defect. To make it worse, the light pattern that manages to hit the ground is also really bad. I do not know how a light manufacturer can produce a light that both blinds oncoming drivers with the low beam, which also fails to put very little light on the ground. Fortunately, I had the 3rd set of the yellow side marker lights to fall back on which performed as expected with nice even light output patterns. I ordered these more than a couple of months ago, so I am stuck with them. Good for recycling plastic ONLY. ... show more
