Update: Another company representative called me and after explaining everything to her, who I might add was extremely nice and seemed sincere, and after sending replacement assemblies, also replaced the hid bulbs and ballast with the exact same kind. These were not the cheap Chinese knock offs. So I retract my initial feedback and after having these for two months and lots of rain, they are still like new with no leaks. Guess I got the one dud in the batch. After dealing with light bulbs always burning out in my gmc 2008 2500, as most Chevy trucks, and the old assemblies had become spiderweb cracked, I decided to change everything and upgrade to some quality hid bulbs. I ordered everything and spent the afternoon changing them out. Two days later I drove through a small rain shower and the left assembly leaked so bad it blew my brand new bulb. I contacted them, which it takes a few days to exchange conversations with them, and told them what happened with pictures and my orders from Amazon that showed the new hid kits and asked if they would replace the bulb that had gotten wet because of their protect leaking. They said they would replace the assembly but not the bulb because they would not make any money if they did. I just got the replacement in today after almost ten days of driving around with one headlight. Just a heads up. As far as the assembly, they fit good and look just like the oem. I'll give the new one a closer look before I install it

After having the lights professionally installed, they looked great until I came home after the first heavy rain since having them installed and finding moist I guess in the light. I took it back to the car shop that installed them and they used a air gun to blow around the edges and seals to see if there was a crack or try to figure out if there was any way water that could’ve got in but couldn’t find one. I called Amazon explaining the problem only to find out it’s been over so many days and they emailed the sender but I never got a response. I called Amazon on another note and mentioned to them about the sender never contacting me and they emailed them again but still no response!! SAD but this is how I’m riding around now. even the fog lights I purchased with these headlights I had to send back because I received them cracked. I’ma faithful prime member and it’s sad when you have to deal with people who take your money and don’t want to respond about their CHEAP PRODUCT. I work hard for my money not to throw it away and if you do also DO NOT PURCHASE THESE LIGHTS!!!

Fits perfect and look great. No problems during installation they just as easy as taking the old ones out which mostly depends on you knowing what you’re doing lol I did seal up around the outside with silicone as a precaution. It rained the next day and haven’t seen and condensation so far so hopefully that did the trick.

First thing I did out the box was inspect where the lens is glued to the housing. Definitely was lacking in some areas so I decided to grab some high quality silicone from Home Depot and went around the entire lens to ensure no leaks. Been through several car washes over the past two months and no leaks or fogging up yet!! Lights are good quality but bead of glue could’ve been way thicker from factory!! 4 stars

After it rained the inside of the headlights began to fog as though they are leaking from some where. I fixed this problem simply by using 3m windshield adhesive calking . Went around all the seams then removed the two small screws on the back retaining the plastic bracket and sealed those also a little extra work but I do really like the look and for the price really worth it. At first was disappointing having to remove and reinstall but now You Know to do this in advance hope Everyone enjoys these lights as much as I do. Been doing some research and asking other customizers seems no matter the brand or how much You spend there is a chance of a bad seal so just do what I said in advance and it will be all right

Be sure to put clear silicone around the light seal before installing to avoid water condensation. Don't worry as long as you put it where the clear lens meets the black plastic it won't show once installed. I drive my truck through the car wash several times a week and so far the light is holding up, I've had them for months. Install was easy, everything was plug and play. I opted to go OEM look because I did not want an LED strip from other type of headlights to flicker or go out. I did install my existing LED light bulbs and the clear new lights make a world of a difference with my LED light bulbs. I love it, others ask for low beam here and there. Visibility is GREAT at night!

NEW UPDATE. It has been a little over two years since install and although these headlights are still sealed from the elements, the outer coating of the plastic has completely degraded and yellowed. The plastic also feels very soft now. The light still projects well, however the look of the truck is bad. UPDATE!!! It’s been about three weeks now and these headlights are amazing. The beams from my LED bulbs project out better than my stock housings and like I said in my original review if you take the time to put silicone all the way around the housings they are air tight and water tight. We have had HEAVY rain the last few weeks and not a drop of water has made it inside and no fog has built up at all. I think the lights look far better with the all black housings. I would definitely recommend these to a friend. As long as you run silicone you will be absolutely pleased with these housings! I was vary concerned initially about the water problem after reading all the reviews but i followed the advice of others and found that if you put silicone all around the edges they don't leak at all. These lights look so good and make the truck look mean without the amber accidents. It takes an extra 24 hours to install so that you can put the silicone all the way around the edges and let it dry fully but it is well worth the wait.
