I had a dime sized dent in my car. I was a little skeptical if this would work on it. Luckily it comes with tons of accessories and pieces that fit the size of the dent. I tried both the yellow and black glue stick. The yellow is the strong of the two. It took about ten different attempts to get it where I wanted it. It's still not a 100% better, but the size of the dent is roughly 1/4 of the original size. Cleaned the dent with 99% isopropyl alcohol then used the black glue and the black tabs. Tightened the puller so it was snug at the resting position, for maximum pulling depth. It pulled a big-behind 5” dent from my quarter panel in one go! Using the other tabs for detail work around the edges of the dent. ... show more

I think the biggest struggle for some is either not reading instructions, and even more importantly, not understanding basic mechanics and material science. The written instructions are not very good at all. But the products themselves are just fine. Biggest tips I can give is to let the glue set for 3 minutes or more before using the puller. You get much better adhesion and the pad breaks away cleanly as designed. Also much easier to remove the glue from your car as well. 91% rubbing alcohol makes the job go easy. Take your time. You may have to reapply the same size pad 3-4 times before moving to the next smallest. The smallest pad may take multiple applications. But you can achieve near perfect results on door dings especially. ... show more

Was able to remove a huge dent. Give the glue more time than you think you need to dry, at least 15 mins (worked for me). Should’ve taken a before picture but it definitely works

The metal tools are well made and work well, but the glue sticks are useless. They stick like heck to the car but not to the plastic pulling tabs. The pulling tabs are also super flimsy so they kind of buckle and tear away from the glue at the middle rather than pulling evenly. Get the one from east wood company. I just ordered the monster red glue sticks on Amazon for another $25 and I'm looking for better tabs. ... show more

Received order fast, reviewed the instructions book at came with it. Very straightforward. I was able to remove a dent on the roof of my truck with ease. But it does take multiple tries, don't think you will get it one. I would recommend for small dings and dents

I bought this kit to pull some dimples out of my cars as well as a dimple on the door of our brand-new stainless fridge. That dimple really irked us considering the money spent, and it was obvious. The kit I ordered did not come with the line board so I bought that separately. I highly recommend a line board. The kit came in fairly quickly and contained all the parts advertised. There was no indication that any parts were used prior. I unwrapped it all and bought some 91% isopropanol alcohol and a small spray bottle found in the travel section of the local WalMart. Perfect size for this application. The glue gun is ready to go in a few minutes. I had watched videos on YouTube on how to use these PDR kits so I followed those examples: cleaned the surface where the dent was with the alcohol, covered the puller head with plenty of glue, affixed the head to the dent and let it sit for about a minute or so. Then I used the lever action puller, gently pumping the handle a little to pull up on the dent. I used a small dimpled head first which was not a good idea as it pulled the dent in a dimply fashion. I swapped to the smoother round head for the second pull and ended with a smaller square head to even it all out. The round heads popped off easily, leaving the glue behind. I had to scrape the square head off. The glue came off fairly easily with the alcohol and the plastic scraper. No residue was left, and no scratches to the door from the attempt. The dent pulled out, but I did fear it would over pull and make a high spot. It did – the door sheeting is light weight, so I figured this was going to happen. I tapped down the higher spots with the included tools and it is much, much better now. Not perfect yet, but far better than the dent. The line board shows the before and after (left of the image is before, right is after). On the line board, when the lines curve outward like a circle that is indicating a dent. You can see where my dent was. A high spot or ridge will show up as inward curved lines. If you look closely in the same location to the right of the composite image you can see the thicker black line pushed inwards slightly – this is indicating the high spot. Hard to get a good idea of shallow dent versus shallow high spot on these steel surfaces, but the line board make it obvious. Later I pulled some small dents from my black 4Runner. Worked great - can hardly tell where the dents were (2 on the hood and two on the driver door). The glue comes off easily with the alcohol and the plastic scraper. All in all, so far, this kit is working. I plan to tackle my 2015 4 Runner this weekend so will edit this review as necessary. At the moment I recommend this kit. ... show more

The set is difficult to use and does not work nearly as well as shown in the promotion. Good Points: 1. The glue removes cleanly from the painted surface. 2. There are a large number of sizes of attaching heads. 3. There are printed directions. The problems: 1. The instructions tell the user to use plenty of glue. Use too little and the puller pops off under load. Use too much and the glue peels off the car under load. Getting it right takes several tries. 2. The set consumes a lot of glue. 3. The glue needs a long time to harden on the car - Instructions say 2-3 minutes reality is more like 6 or seven. 4. There are several pulling tools, a spanner bar and a squeeze type - they are too short and it is very hard to attach to a curved surface like a car.. The bar type needs longer lead screws or adjustable pad stand offs. The squeeze type needs at least another inch of column length. 5. The instructions look like a comic book with very small pictures and a few words. Much more detail is needed. ... show more
