I'm new in using this buffer, but my initial take is very positive. It is light and well balanced and did a nice job during my first use. Time will tell.

Size: Dual Action Polisher
I use this buffer mostly for final cutting (compounding). The buffer is a bit on the heavy side for a D/A, but that isn't an issue with the handles provided. With the weight of the machine, I did expect it to be a little smoother during operation. I don't know if I would call it a true dual-action (D/A) buffer. It's more random orbit. Nonetheless, it is easy on painted edges and works well on 3,000 grit sanding scratches when using a fine compound. It seems to be very solid, has plenty of power, and is better than two of the three other D/A buffers I already have. A 7-inch pad didn't slow it down. Don't try to make sense of the instructions. As with many imported products, the instructions make little sense. In fact, they are downright hilarious. They should hire a better translator.

Great ergonomics. However, any pressure at all and it bogged down and this was on fully charged batteries. I did not expect eclectic power but did not expect it to act liker it was running on triple a batteries.
