I live in Arizona and have no covered parking where I live. I have to have a sun shade. I can't find the old cardboard shades anymore. They weren't great but better than nothing. The only ones I've been able to buy for the past few years are the ones with the bubbly plastic which fall apart in the heat and leave my car full of little plastic pieces. I refuse to buy those again. I was anxious to try this brand, but it has worked great! Easy to fit in the window. No mess. It works very well at keeping the car cool even in 100+ degree weather. The only drawback is I don't know how to fold it back up so it just gets thrown in the back seat. Good thing I normally don't have passengers back there otherwise I'd have to throw it in the trunk each time I needed to drive.

I have a 2019 Ram 1500 pickup. The manufacturer suggested a large, I got an XL SO HAPPY I DID!! nothing worse than an undersized sun shield that slips down and is a pain in the A$$ to keep in the window. This one wedges in more or less and actually takes up the whole window. It does have 2 pin holes in the shields, to let air out when holding. One on each side. As far as, does it block the sun, yes. Would recommend to anyone.

I purchased a new car and my previous sunshade did not fit well so purchased a new sunshade. Love how this new sunshade folds up when not in use. When in the provided bag/package it fits nicely on my car door instead of just throwing the sunshine in my back seat taking up a lot of room.
