    • Automatic brake lights!
I was a bit skeptical when I purchased it, but was pleasantly surprised how great these work. The light senses when it's in motion and so when it detects that it is slowing down, the brake lights turn on. When not braking, you have two options of modes: dual flashing or always on. Obviously the always on mode will lower battery life. There is a built-in battery that is not removable. To charge, there is a micro-usb port on one side that you use to charge the device. It also has an auto-off sensor which helps conserve battery levels. It detects there's been no movement for a while and the lights will shut off. Once the device moves again it will resume blinking again. The mount allows you to mount it vertically or horizontally. It comes with 2 mounting options, a rubber band to wrap around poles, and a plastic clip for clipping to your belt or some other thin object. The battery lasts for a few days, but I'm just using them for a few hours at a time. Overall, I was surprised how well the automatic part of the brake lights work, I'm very happy with this. ... show more

My riding times are relatively short but this seems to hold a charge sufficiently for my needs. Brightness and flash modes are good. I love how the brake light actuates based on an accelerometer sensor instead of hard wires. I recommend this.

    • My second purchase- Love this light!
I purchased this for my electric bike and am here to purchase another one for my daughters bike. This mounted easily to my bike with some modification. I used my own screw to mount to the bike rack (the crew it comes with is too small). I used the included stretch band to strap it to my daughters back seat. Pros: -Automatically turns on when movement is sensed in the bike and turns off on its own. Saves battery and I never forget to turn it on or off -Nice and bright -Becomes solid bright red when slowing down or stopping. I have tested this out and it consistently seems to work as intended. People often comment that they are impressed that it senses this correctly -Makes me more visible on the road -Seems to have a decent battery life, is easy to charge and charges quickly Cons: - The only con is that I wish is was bigger/longer. It is bright but tiny So far it has performed exactly as promised ... show more

I've had this for about 6 months. The battery life on this thing is great! It'll last you for weeks of short use. I used it on my electric scooter for my short commutes to work from the parking lot, about a mile. It senses your change in speed when you apply the breaks, just like it said it would. Then suddenly, it stopped working just last month. I thought the battery had just died. When I went to charge it, it would light up, eventually, but stopped holding a charge. And that's it. It's still on my scooter since I used it to replace the reflector, but it's just dead now. Still, during the months where it was still dark when I went to work, it was great. ... show more

It's a little loose when mounted on a bag, the clip doesn't feel as tight as the clip of other lights. Overall I am happy with it: it's very bright, and easy to use. Basically set it and forget it (but you do have to charge it though ;) ). It turns on the moment I move the bike and automatically turns off (after 1 minute or so?). When I brake, it lights up brighter which is a cool safety feature. ... show more

    • Great little tail light with auto sensing for slowing down/stopping
The media could not be loaded. My minibike is not wired for tail lights/stop lights so I needed something battery operated with a sensing option for when I slow down or stop. I found this BikeSpark on Amazon and installed it on my favorite mini bike. I found that it was much brighter than the different brand on my other mini bike and the auto-sensing feature for slowing or stopping works great.     • Not even a year!
Loved the light at first. Used it for 4 months pretty much daily. Did not use for 3 months and went to turn on and battery was dead? Attempted to charge it but would not charge even after 1 1/2 hours. Very disappointed with product that will not last even a year. What ever happened to devices that work long term? Will not ever buy BikeSpark product again since there are numerous 1 and 2 stars reviews with poor longevity. If one of the companies representatives read these reviews please respond to the issues noted. Next time I have $30 to burn I will literally do that since that's what I feel like I did with the purchase of this product. We consumers work hard for our money but BikeSpark simply ships things out and make theirs with no regard for issues after the sale. DO NOT BUY! ... show more
