I just recently purchased a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 with the 5.9 Diesel engine and absolutely love everything about this truck. Due to the truck being just about 13 years old now, the original headlights that it came with were starting to get faded, peel, and yellow to the point where they looked terrible compared to everything else on the truck. I bought these headlights after searching for aftermarket ones because they looked very sleek and simple. Installing them was a breeze thanks to Youtube videos giving me step by step instructions. When everything was all settled in and in place it made the entire truck look like a whole new vehicle. I think they make the truck look more aggressive and almost like they should have came like this from the factory. The light output isn't great with my stock halogens in them but I plan on, and also recommend anyone else to upgrade to LED bulbs when you get these, but make sure you adjust them properly so that you do not blind traffic.

These look really good, especially when comparing them to the stock headlights that were very aged and filmy. That being said, the only reason they don't get the 5 star rating is that the lights aren't very bright. I assume I can throw another bulb (brighter) in but since the lights came with a bulb I went ahead and installed them as is. Again, looks are amazing with the dark interior and clear lens but brightness could be better. Installation was a breeze and fit perfectly into OEM holes. I had to make adjustments as my truck is lifted 9 inches, but this too was easily done. Hope the review helps!

Headlights look great. super easy install - 20 minutes to install both of them. I purchased the OEM headlights but black instead of chrome. I'm getting ready to drive from Arizona to Vermont and could barely see with my old headlights because of fading\yellowing. Now my truck looks like a beast and i feel much safer. I put some wax on them as well to protect and allow moisture to bead and fall off. Great product, fit like a glove. See my photos of before and after!

These are a great fit on my ‘05! I suggest leaving 1 of the 2 OEM assemblies installed and used as your benchmark. Leave the plastic covering the lens. You may or may not need to remove the plastic receiver attached to the alignment prong. Carefully install your main bulb but especially the turn indicator as the plastic plugs may be brittle. Loosely reinstall all three bolts until it’s properly aligned. Very easy task, I found laying on the floor gave me best visibility to the bolt behind the assembly. I need brighter bulbs now.
