But as an extra blanket (on top of another) it will add a slight amount of weight and a bit of warmth. This blanket is a great size for picnics or the beach. It was soft enough but it doesn’t catch all the dirt and sand. I love the color too! Definitely a great value for the money. Blankets like this sell for $75 or more but this one does the job for more than half the price. I would buy again.
