This wears well, is not greasy, dries to a nice matte texture. Perfect for combo and especially oily skin. I have severe hyperpigmentation on my cheeks and have been using chemical sunscreens bc w tret use, my skin was just too peelie for any tinted or regular mineral sunscreens. The zinc and titanium usually highlights it even more. I could barely even use make up. Plus a good chemical sunscreen provides better PDD rating (UVA spectrum) than what most mineral sunscreens can provide. This stuff actually softens the peelie look, its better than make up. I'm so impressed, I always stayed away from mineral sunscreen bc of color and texture, they are always so greasy and texturizing and I have oily skin. Ofc, how it looks depends on how bad my peelies are and which moisturizer I'm using. Australian Gold Tinted is a game changer for me. I now use a popular Japanese chemical sunscreen as my first layer, and top up with this sunscreen bc the iron oxides is suppose to protect from blue light which has been darkening my hyperpigmenation despite sunscreen use. The two formulas are compatible. Btw, this sunscreen has been tested for a PPD rating of about 19.2, which is really decent. I'll probably get this in all 3 shades to use to match to my perfect color and also as contouring especially across my cheek bones which will give it extra protection during the summer. This stuff is better than make up and I've even tested really high end tinted mineral sunscreens at Sephora that does not even measure up to this one. This sunscreen is definitely designed for tough use like sweaty humid Florida weather. So perfect for the beach. It dries so nicely that I can wear it on parts of my body and it doesn't smear as much like other sunscreens, especially tinted mineral sunscreen. Unlike the color choices at Sephora, the colors aren't a perfect match. However, the texture for me is Holy Grail. Hopefully Australian Gold will work on their color choices as this is a top selling tinted mineral sunscreen and the value is unbeatable.

Excellent sunscreen. Goes well with my facial skin. It is a light texture. I do not wear makeup and have an oily face. The tint was perfect and It didn’t irritate my eyes and it’s a matte finish. I highly recommend this product. Definitely will purchase again

Overall I really like this sunscreen and will continue to buy it. It's tinted so it doubles as a sheer foundation, it's truly matte and stays matte all day, it's easy to reapply mid-day, it's lightweight and comfy. My only complaint is that it's quite difficult to wash off. I usually need to cleanse twice and occasionally three times to fully remove all of it. However, for me, the quality of the product is worth this tradeoff. For people with very sensitive or dry skin, the multiple washings might make this product not worth it. Hope this is helpful.

This stuff is (ahem) gold! I wear sunscreen daily, and used the cerave tinted sunscreen for years, but not only was it too light for my skin, it broke me out and always felt like my face was dirty. Enter this: it’s more a CC cream, with a mousse-like texture that melts into your skin. It gives medium-full coverage on top of having 50 spf, stays on allllll day, and can be worn in place of foundation. I wear it over my moisturizer and my skin never feels dry or tight, and it doesn’t get cakey with reapplication or cling to dry patches. And the medium shade is a perfect match for my medium-tan skin! The ONLY complaint that I have is that it’s impossible to wash off even after all-day wear unless you use an oil cleanser/makeup remover which is a non-issue imo. This is my new holy grail skin product for summer!

Very few sunscreens work for my oily, acne-prone skin that has visible texture from pores, occasional dehydration, etc. This stuff is great. I wasn't expecting much, but the formulation, the color and the overall effect is top-notch. I can't speak to how hydrating this is, as that wasn't a consideration and I'm generally fine with hydration (oily skin and all). I have noticed a slight bit of oil showing through by the end of the day, but it's easily combatted with a setting powder. Love that there's no silicone -- easier to wash off and no breakouts. My former love was Supergoop's Mattescreen, but I wanted to see if there was a silicone-free version I could also love. Happy to report that I've found it!

It’s a bit orange tinted but doable for my skin. It works well to prevent sunburn but got back from a day in the sun and took a shower. Used soap to clean my face in the shower and got out. Realized it was still matted on my skin. Washed my face again with face cleanser and thought that would do the trick. Looked in the mirror before bed to apply my nightly routine and there’s still an orange cake in there! I guess the take away is that if you want coverage to protect your skin, then you’ll have to deal with the impossibility of getting it off. I don’t like the idea of going to bed with it still on my skin though, I’m a little conscientious about chemicals for long periods of time. That’s the only downside although I feel bad for people’s reviews that have fair skin, I can see why they don’t like it. For me, it works well in that aspect.

These ingredients are the only two approved & are non cancer causing. It does a fabulous job protecting your skin from harmful sun burn or too much exposure. I have light skintone but chose the medium. It looks phenomenal!! Better than any BB, CC cream Ive ever used. It is sheer, blends perfectly, covers slight imperfections & discoloration. Use a moisturizer first, then apply. Gives me some suttle healthy color while actually protecting my skin. I have sensitive skin, I notice no smell whatsoever with this product & have no, not one adverse reaction. I love it. Highly, highly, highly recommended.
