Updated formula? I'm not sure, but the last tube of this I had felt like the tint was a bit darker. I'm actually glad the most recent tube I got is a bit lighter because it blends perfectly with my fair skin tone and makes it look amazing! It's not supposed to provide any real coverage, but for some reason it evened out my redness and even made my under eye circles look better. Like, what? Every other tinted mineral I've tried leaves me coming back to this one. It's matte and not sticky, which seems to be the theme of all other tinted mineral spfs out there. This is now my backup sunscreen, which quite honestly, I was thrilled to find. I've tried dozens of mineral sunscreens. Other than my favorite, an Australian brand, and some goopy zinc ones, they all sting my uber sensitive skin, but to different degrees. This one stings very,very slightly.I can wear it though, which is a relief, since my favorite one is frequently unavailable in my shade. The pluses of this one are that it goes on super smooth and silky, and sits well under makeup. I doubt most people would find it even mildly irritating. The big minus is ... THE PRICE! It's more than twice the price of my number one choice! And for me, the mild sting is another minus, but again, I don't think that would be the case for most people.Also, the tint doesn't actually provide any coverage or blurring effect for my skin, which I miss But, all in all, a wearable, high quality product. ... show more

I have melasma especially in summer. My dermatologist gave me a sample of this and I really like the feel of it. Not greasy or too thick. Plus with the tint I just skip foundation.
