I have these lockers front and rear in my 2011 jeep jk with 5.13 gears for part of a year. The jeep can now climb anything. Great traction. The only issue is the clicking and banging when trying to turn on or off road. It has lengthened my turning radius a bit. The noises are not seeming to hurt anything, just scary! Over all a great product and I've used this in Moab, Amarillreat way to ko, Hump and Bump as well as Winter 4x4 jamboree in Hurricane Utah with amazing results! I love Aussie lockers up front! Super easy to install in my JK. Was a little noisy at first but it quited down considerably after my gear break in period. Took it out for a test and it locks and unlocks when I want it to without changing my driving style. Great value and high quality!

Easy install, make sure to follow the directions to the T. Locker works great. Don't even know it's there when in 2wd. No clicking or banking. In 4wd they make a lot of noise when turning. I used 1 pint of 80w gear oil and 1 pint of Lucas oil additive. It keeps it fairly quiet. I went with Aussie over Spartan because the Aussie was a direct fit and the Spartan has fine print saying that the JKU would need a new carrier. ... show more

Easy to install, it locks up my JKs front Dana 30 when torque is applied, and I didnt have any issues with it being in "SPEC" in terms of the inner spacing right out of the box. I also have one in the rear of my JKs Dana 44 and I had the same experience installing it as well, easy peezy. Only issue is that if you have this locker installed in both the front Dana 30, and the rear Dana 44, youll find that there will be more clacking and youll have to let off the throttle a bit more while street driving around right and left turns, but for a cheap effective way to lock up the axles offroad, Im willing to live with it. Does is last? Yes it does. I had the rear one for a year or so before I decided to throw another one into the front Dana 30 and I also opened up the pumpkin to check on it after a year and about a dozen or more offroad trips. When I have the windows rolled up, I dont even hear a click. ... show more

Probably one of the whose lockers I've ever bought off here, only works if your going perfectly straight. Constantly clicks and is loud as hell.. I'm gonna order a different one and see about that and probably toss this one straight in the trash.

Works fine but much noiser that Lockrite or Powertrax. Checked tolerances twice, but still super noisy when in 4wd and turning.

I'm just coming up on my first winter with this in my front diff. Die to having to cancel my planned of road trips this past summer I really didn't get much use from it so far. It seems to work great on gravel roads, lol. We had our first snow recently and I engaged 4wd. Cornering was a bit different, as the front wanted to drift. Easing up on throttle and taking turns slower seem to be the work around for this. So far, I'm pleased with this locker. ... show more
