I ordered this for my niece, as we’re always getting together at her house and end up taking group photos. She finally used it about a month ago and absolutely loved it. No longer are we trying to balance the phone up against a cup, rock, etc., hitting the timer button, and then running back to the group to get a photo. It gripped her phone nicely, and the tripod was very stable. It’s light weight and legs slide inside itself for compact storage. The head of the tripod allows for flexibility and rotation of the phone so that you can capture the perfect photo. The part that she absolutely loved was the remote shutter button (Bluetooth activated). She stood in the group with us, told us to smile and hit the remote button to capture the photos. Her excitement about the remote had everyone asking about the tripod set up. For the price, this is an excellent tripod to have for those situations that there is no one available to capture the photo.

The tripod is stable with a phone out the full 15 inches toward your face. Height adjustment is simple, rotation of the phone to be horizontal (or your desired angle) is simple and it stays there once adjusted. The top tilting so you can store the unit with gooseneck bent as you need until the next call and only take up a few square inches of floor or closet space is nice. It's a great complement to a normal tripod, does things that won't. The included phone-holding vise works very well and would hold any phone. Perfect for what I needed. Compact, sturdy enough, light, simple, flexible.

Perfect tripod. We love it. It’s simple to put together. I can pull the legs out without a struggle, to have it stand still. Nothing like the one I bought weeks ago. I broke the legs because it was difficult to pull out to stand it straight up. I’m satisfied my purchase!

This is just OK for me. It's not horrible, it does work. But… When you attach your phone it is a bit top-heavy. I love that it is adjustable and you can pretty much put it at any angle you want. Except the heaviness of your phone makes it a little difficult at times. It also takes quite a bit of fiddling to get it just right. I do you like that it telescopes up or down but again it takes a lot of fiddling to get it just right. So while it does the job, I just wish it was a little bit easier to use. I am not one that wants to spend 15 minutes setting up my camera to take a 30 second video clip.
