I really don't think the light does anything? I use it as a timer, which is VERY useful. The main thing is that the tray is well designed. It has a little lip where if you put the line of goop just under the lip it pretty much stays in and doesn't leak into your mouth much (Custom trays would probably be best, but expensive). I've only used it 4 times (in 4 days) and I see a very noticeable difference. IT WORKS. I think it's just the goop doing it, but, who cares? It passes "The Engineering Test". It works! ... show more

First of all, their new packaging and product design is nice. It has a rechargable battery with a custom charger, not a watch battery like the old design. Second, it gets results. I don’t know the science of the blue light, but the gel works without it if you have custom trays. That’s what I use now, but I buy my refills from Auraglow because I know they’re quality. I needed a new tray because my partner wanted to whiten her teeth and I couldn’t find the old one, but I knew just the one to buy. I think its a fair price an effective product. I prefer my custom trays to this light, but I definitely prefer the price of the light to my custom trays, and they both work well. ... show more

As someone that smokes, vapes, drinks coffee, drinks wine, and is on medication that is detrimental to the health of your teeth, I’ve been searching for products that will help stop, or reverse the damage for awhile now. I’ve tried “Crest white strips”, “Smile Direct Club” and “ISmile”. Crest strips burned my gums, and didn’t see noticeable difference upon completion. Smile Direct worked a little better, but there was a bigger mess then the strips. And I wouldn’t recommend ISmile at all. Like anyone who used whitening kits, I was skeptical about trying another one like AuraGlow. But insecurity, and desperation pushed me forward. Let me first start off by saying everyone will have a different experience with these products, and dentists will obviously warn you against them unless they sponsor the product, because they would rather you pay them to whiten your teeth. I bought the full package. The toothpaste booster is great for cleaning the pallet before applying the mixture. It only called for 2min with your other regular toothpaste. Then you apply the mouthguard with the product from the syringes. Which is incredibly easy to do. I would follow the same rule as perfume and cologne though. “Less Is Better Than More”. This process called for 30min, which I did with the attached UV light. 30min may sound like a lot of time, but it goes by quickly unless you are sitting there counting the minutes. I just watched a couple Facebook videos, and I was done. The worst part about the mouth guard is that it’s a “One Size Fits All” and someone with a small jaw will feel its effects after a couple days. It felt like i got punched in the upper jaw after the second use, and it lasted for a couple days. Also, if you are someone that produces a lot of saliva, make sure to have a couple napkins readily accessible to wipe any drips on the chin. If you can get past the sore jaw, and dripping saliva then you’ll notice almost immediately how well this product works. When other reviewers say they saw results after the first session, believe them. After I took out my guard and brushed away any excess application, I looked in the mirror and was literally shocked. It was almost like looking at a different smile. I’m on my 7th session, and I would say my teeth are at least 7 shades whiter. Not sure if 12 is possible, but we’ll see. So if you can get past the jaw pain, wiping away the excessive saliva, and commit to the recommended length sessions, I think you’ll be as satisfied as I am. Good luck. ... show more

I've used an older auraglow whitening kit, which I loved, but the mouth pice was quite bulky and needed (round) batteries. It was a bit uncomfortable so I decided to get this one. I absolutely love that it's so much smaller, doesn't need batteries and comes w the USB to charge. It also shuts off on its own after 30mins and I don't need to set a timer. So far, I'm really happy with this purchase and looking forward to a whiter smile! Definitely recommend it! ... show more

It actually works! A noticeable difference in 2 days! I have used jells and stripes in the past, they worked but I would develop such sensitivity I would quit before noticing a major difference. My teeth were stained and it was bugging me, so I ordered this, followed the super easy instructions, 30 minutes, done.
