Once I got it to stay together, I loved the way it looked. The sections go together with a straight metal pin, there needs to be some kind of locking mechanism though. If you breathe on it, it comes apart. Next year I will try to come up with an alternate way to keep it together.

I think it looks nicer in the Amazon photo than in person, but it worked well and fits well around our huge tree base. We keep it open in the back so we can open it slightly to water the tree.

This looks great around my 7 1/2 ft artificial tree. It went together easily and I like the height. It was one of the taller ones I looked at when trying to decide. Love the collar. But the one I got is short of 29”! Since my tree stand is 281/2”…I needed the sizing to be correct. Now I will have to live with a gap in the back.
