Thank you for this product and the price I paid for it. It is well worth it. I had some trouble at first, that's on me. The manual is quite easy to use, thanks to those people who wrote it. It comes with an extra battery, though not sure why. It takes excellent pictures. Once I figured out how to preview them and then to down load them to my pc. I like the anti-shake feature. This is by far the best technology for digital cameras. I am not a picture happy person, though I doubt I will ever earn an income to sell my pictures. Oh, you have no idea what just popped into my head for me to use this camera. I definitely like the cloth carrying case. When not in use, I put the cord and camera inside to store in my dresser drawer - to prevent dust. Easy to clean. I think that's about it. ... show more

I compared image quality with my Canon HF R800 (albeit four times the price of the Aufoya). The Aufoya resolution was lower. It uses a digital zoom which, by design, degrades the image quality. You cannot zoom smoothly while recording video. The color balance trends to blue. The exposure is a bit too bright. If you add an attachment that connects the camcorder to a tripod it covers the ports to the memory card and battery. You have to unscrew the attachment to gain access. The battery lasted 1 hour 25 minutes instead of 2 hours. Some menu commands are not intuitive. I returned the Aufoya to Amazon and purchased a Sony-HDRCX405 HD camcorder for $115 more than the Aufoya. The Sony camcorder's extra quality and value are worth more than the additional $115 I spent on it versus the Aufoya. ... show more

I was impressed by this camera. The quality of the pictures is great! You just have to make sure you press the button halfway down to focus it first. I also plan to hook it up to a microphone to videotape on it as well because the screen flips around so you can see.
