This machine is great for small loads. It washes clothes VERY well. I bought this as a gift for a friend who lives alone. He had no washer or dryer in his apartment. You should expect to pour the water in the reservoir unless you have a shower with the shower head on a hose. Expect to use it in a bathtub, or right next to a floor drain, or outside. In the bathtub works best, straight out of the box. However, if you are handy and have the time to go to the hardware, you can get hoses and fittings to attach it to any water supply/drain that you like. The hoses that are supplied are simply useless. I still say 5 stars because it washes and spins the living crap out of your clothes. It will only do a few pieces at a time, but they get super clean. It took dirt out that a full size did not. And, it is the same quality as the more expensive brands, as far as I can see. Well worth the $.

So far this has been a great purchase. We live full time in an RV and going to launrdry mats sucks. We wanted to be able to do laundry in the comfort of our RV, but dont have the room for a stackable. We looked at the reviews for this machine and decided to take a chance. We took the advice of others and placed it in our shower on a flat rubber mat. It works out great, because you don't have to worry about splashing water when filling or transferring over to the spinner. Speaking of the spinner, WOW! It works better than any full size machine I've had, which is nice, because not having a dryer means you have to air dry. Now for the reality of what the machine is. It is small and you can't expect to do large loads. The spinner is smaller in size than the wash tub, so you have to separate into small portions when spinning. We are careful not to overload, because we know it's only going to limit the lifespan of the machine. Overall, if you just need a compact washer and are willing to limit the size of your loads, this thing is perfect.

To get every bit of soap out, we suggest adding water and running it again for a super thorough rinse. But wait, there’s more! On the right side of this machine, you’ll find a nifty spin dryer. It spins your clothes super fast, leaving them almost dry and ready for a quick hang to finish the job. The drain works like a charm too! Once you’re done washing, it empties the water out swiftly, so you’re ready for the next round in no time. Things to Keep in Mind: Just a couple of things to note, the hose attachment might not fit all faucets. Unfortunately, there isn’t a separate attachment from the manufacturer. So, you might need to fill it up with a bucket. But that’s a small trade-off for this machine’s handy size and function! It works best when the water level covers your clothes. And remember, a little detergent goes a long way. Half a tablespoon should do the trick. If you use too much, you might find extra soap on your clothes. Lastly, this machine is best for small items. It might struggle a bit with larger items like blankets or big towels. So stick to the small stuff, and you’re golden. This is my second washer similar to this. I had the first one (from a different brand) for 3.5 years before it had enough abuse from me and one of the motors went. I am absolutely okay with spending $100 every 3-4 years to do laundry in my own home instead of paying to use shared machines. This is totally worth the money. The agitation is powerful enough to get clothes very clean and the spin cycle dries well enough that it doesn't take long for clothes to air dry. Here are some tips that have worked for me to get the most out of these machines: 1) Just assume you'll use it in the tub. I've tried it elsewhere and it's a headache. Containing it to the tub negates water getting anywhere you don't want it to be, issues with draining and filling, etc. 2) Replace your shower head with something that has a hose. It's incredibly easy to do and doesn't take very long. I did it in my rented apartment in 5 minutes. Ideally get one with a magnetic head so it's easy to put up and take down. This is so much better than filling it with buckets or trying to deal with the flimsy fill hose it comes with. 3) To keep the bottom off of the tub floor and reduce noise for the apartment below, I rest it on 2 anti-fatigue mats that I've stacked. Keeps the bottom from getting wet when draining and my neighbors from going insane. 4) I use a pitcher to collect any water coming out of the faucet while I fill with the shower head. I dump the water in there into the beginning of my rinse cycle, next load, or water my plants. Saves water and speeds things up just a little bit. 5) Get a drain strainer to catch lint. I saw another review that mentions putting a hosiery sock over the drain tube, which is also genius. Ultimate, this machine is absolutely worth the money to help your sanity. I definitely recommend it!
