  • HUGE DIFFERENCE!
Size: 16.4ft
I had been using Monster Ultra 4K cables with my 4K TV and 4K Onkyo Amp in a full Dolby setup, but I didn’t know what I was missing. Now upgrading to an 85”-8K TV with an 8K Denon Amp and 8K Sony Bluray and 3 pairs of Definitive Technologies Dolby Atmos speakers with two 10” subs. In order to get the “full range output” of all those 8K devices without any restrictions, I needed to use “wide open” superhighway HDMI cables by AudioQuest. I used the Vodka version on all my short spans, and only use 1 Cinnamon version on a 15 foot run as that length gets a bit pricey using Vodka quality. These higher quality cables definitely made the difference! The proof? I am now hearing NEW sounds and seeing NEW visual details in all my older 4K blurays and all current TV broadcasts! It’s like inheriting a whole new library to re-experience all over again!! To test the difference I replaced a Vodka cable with one of my Monster Ultra cables and it was like night and day so I quickly changed back to Vodka and trashed my Monster cables. If you want to get your moneys-worth from all your hardware, you MUST use these AudioQuest high quality cables. It’s like buying a Ferrari but then using skinny retread tires. You’ll never know what you are missing. JUST BE SURE TO WATCH THE ARROWS ON THE CONNECTORS AS THESE CABLES ARE DIRECTIONAL. ... show more

  • Wish I knew if it was worth the money, but it did help
Size: 9.8ft
I am totally persuaded that the quality of cables makes a difference in the quality of the audio and video output. The question I have is about the point of diminishing returns. Is this amazingly high price justifiable? Still can't answer that. But, I can testify that this particular item (which is not even the "top" of the line) did indeed make a perceptible difference in the sound coming out of my speakers. Can't tell about the video. (Used it for the primary feed from my cable box into the amplifier. Replaced an AudioQuest 'Forrest' cable, because that one connection seemed the most critical.) Was it necessary to spend this much? Don't know. All I can say is that it did improve on what I had, and I was skeptical that it would. Still, I'm going to hold off on replacing the speaker cables, which are already mid-quality and probably OK. This product is solidly made and clearly of high engineering quality. I'm still reserving judgment about how much the % of silver, platinum, unobtainium really affects things. But maybe the trick is to match the cables with the investment in the other components. ... show more

Works great but extremely expensive. Can’t tell the difference between the cheap version and this one

  • Good Cables Make All The Difference
Size: 2.5ft
Not the least expensive HDMI cable out there but certainly one of the best for 4K video and HD audio. Have tried low priced cables and this one certainly exceeds in picture uniformity and excellent sound as well.

  • Buyer Beware
Size: 7.4ft
Trash cable and trying to get Audioquest to look at it or replace it is a joke. You’re expected to fill out a form that is unusable because you have to fill in blanks digitally and send back to get a replacement opportunity and if they try it and it works uou get yours back. Lifetime Warranty = Joke
