I bought the mic + pop filter + boom arm + xlr combo. That’s what I’m specifically reviewing here. First of all, the mic is great. No problems, and for a budget Audio Technica it’s killer. Very happy on that front. Lots of 1 or 2 star reviews that seem to just not be very knowledgeable. This mic needs 48V phantom power, you won’t get input if you’re not supplying that from your interface. My biggest issue with the bundle is the boom arm. What with this being the Audio Technica seller page, I was expecting a higher level of quality. The boom arm is stiff, not very flexible at all. After one evening of use, the boom clamp’s weak joints snapped and I’ve already had to order a replacement. See the picture. Furthermore, the pop filter is trash. The arm barely holds its shape, and you have to manipulate it extensively for it to hold position. The mic is a definite recommend, but I highly suggest avoiding the bundle and buying your own other peripherals. ... show more

THE 2ND PIC THEY HAVE THAT SHOWS THE FULL BOOM ARM, THEY HAVE IT AT A SNEAKY ANGLE. THE PART THAT CLAMPS TO THE DESK, THERE IS A SMALL PART THAT ATTACHS THE CLAMP AND THE ARM. ITS SUCH A PATHETIC PART, IT WILL BREAK BASICALLY RIGHT AWAY. THE ARM CANNOT SUPPORT THE MIC BECAUSE OF THIS SMALL PATHETIC PIECE. DONT BUY THE ARM, JUST THE MIC. MICS GOOD. THE ARM IS JUST A SCAM SO THEY GET $15 EXTRA DOLLARS. I ADMIT IM DUMB FOR BUYING $150 MIC AND $15 ARM. IT IS WHAT IT IS. ... show more

The microphone is great and so is the cable and mount. The arm and pop filter arm were made cheap! My mistake was ordering this bundle. I should have ordered them separately and bought a better-quality arm. The mounting arm is very thin and won't support the weight of the microphone and on top of adding the pop filter arm, it just falls to the table no matter how tight you tighten the knobs. ... show more
