I like this thing, but I feel like it just missed the mark. I bought it after a friends recommendation and watching a few YouTube reviews of it. It checked a lot of the boxes I had for streaming. The sound quality is great. I have some speakers hooked up to it and they really do seem to sound louder when plugged into this as opposed to directly into the audio source. My gripe with this product is that it has no way of controlling the volume to individual outputs. I want to be able to turn down the original output without turning down the headset output. That just doesn't seem possible with this. Maybe I am missing something, but I feel like that was a big miss. Maybe I just didn't get the right model or something. I don't know. Also, the pads that you can place your own recordings on doesn't quite sound right. It comes out very low no matter how I record them.

I dont like the sound quality from the mic. Attempted adjusting low, medium and high but never found a sweet spot. I now use it to make my electric drums, music and video games a bit louder. No complaints other than the mic.

I believe this is a great entry level audio interface, it includes everything that you need out of the box for a streaming/podcast setup or even great for a teacher like me to do online classes or record voice overs. First of all the setup is driverless (I tested it on windows 11 as well and it worked fine). The included cable is a USB-C which is a huge plus over Micro-B. Features: - It has hardware level control (knobs) over the microphone input and the music, as well as the ability to adjust LOW, MIDS and HIGHs. as well as the ability to adjust Echo (Reverb) on the fly. - As for the included effects (Opening/ Applause etc.) they're alright but I wish you could re-program them maybe through a software version down the line, but at least you get 4 extra buttons that you get to record whatever you want on them (could be an intro and an outro to a class or a podcast or whatever). - You get additional effects such as Pitch in which you can change your voice to a deeper sound or female voice. which are my favourite to mess around with in discord calls with friends. - a Denoise button which is really good if you record in a place with a constant distortion such as Air conditioners or a Fan. -PROs: 1- The kit pretty much comes with everything you want to start a streaming setup/podcast or record voiceovers. 2- you get hardware level control over Master Volume, microphones, music etc. with the addition of effects. 3- The microphone stand is really sturdy on the AU-AM200-S4, it comes with a shock mount which a big plus. 4- Runs on battery which means you can pretty much use it on the go if you plan on streaming off a mobile phone, or even do classes/meetings on the go. 5- The setup was easy and driverless. 6- bluetooth connection. -Cons: 1- The Microphone is good but not amazing, considering the price I can't complain as good microphones would cost as much as this entire thing. 2- The microphone input is not XLR, rather they give you an XLR to 3.5mm jack input which means you don't get (phantom power), In case you want to replace the microphone you should be looking for one that doesnt require phantom power. 3- I wish you had the ability to change some of the pre-programmed buttons. Conclusion: If you're someone who is just starting out and looking for an interface and a microphone, this setup is pretty much as easy as it gets with few extra quirks that are useful. Its an amazing starter kit that includes easy documents as well as hardware level controls and a microphone thats really decent, much better than any typical headset mics. I'd highly recommend it for someone looking to stream/record voice overs or even starting a podcast. It has digital levels where you can monitor how loud things are on the fly without relying on windows. the denoise button is also great.

The actual device is great i love everything about this product it truly is awesome. I am giving it 3 stars because my mic is not working. Im not sure what im doing wrong but it is not picking up my voice. And when it does, the mic has to basically and in all seriousness in my mouth to pick up any sound. Which is bonkers to me. Most mics have issues picking up too much sound and this one doesn't pick up anything unless it's in your mouth I was really excited to use this product for my podcast. It looks like I will have to return it. Super bummer because I really needed it to work. I did watch countless of YouTube videos prior to and after buying on how to use reviews etc. So you can see why my frustration is here. My husband is a computer technician he said "that I am going to need a new mic because the mic isn't working well" it says I'm saying something but records very low. My husband thought I was joking but this is what made him say "send it back"

Good price to start a podcast on a budget. Works perfectly with Audacity. Decent editing capabilities for the price point. Only criticism is the buttons are a little clunky and inexact. I'm running a weekly podcast with it and it's a pleasure to use.

I've had my unit since November 2022. When it suddenly stopped charging I contacted support to see if there was a replacement battery I could purchase for the unit. After completing a few steps per their request, they told me they would be shipping out a replacement unit to me. I didn't expect that but I will take it since I really like this unit.

My Husband is an Author and he has been trying to find something good to finish up and do over his audio books as he feels the sound quality was lacking. He got this machine for Christmas and has recently been spending a few nights working on them and he said this is going to cut the time it took by more than half. He said the sound quality is excellent! His first two self published books “The Star Runner” and “89” are out in paper back but Audio books are now a work in Progress. His 3rd book which is just being released by Paige publishing, “The Alternate” will be in stores very soon! So far he is very satisfied with this machine and he’s looking forward to getting more work done with it!!
