Newer version of the same model of the Blower Model Attwood 3000 in my boat. Slight differences in the unit - Old unit had an arrow on it with Air Flow indicating how you should install it. The refreshed version does not have an airflow indicator. Here is a hint, motor towards the direction you want the air to move towards, fan blades towards the air source you want to ventilate. This is the only reason I am knocking off 1 star. Fan is much quieter and pushes more air volume out than the worn out unit I replaced. ... show more

This fan moves some air. I live off grid in Alaska and hooked it up to the back of my wood stove to move the hot air, it works! It does make a lot of noise tho, but that’s to be expected I suppose for what it does!

I used this to add pressurized, vented air to a Polaris Slingshot on the passenger side. You must orient it the direction you want, because you cannot wire it backwards. The airflow is significantly reduced if you attempt to reverse polarity the motor.

I have a 24 yo boat that had a Atwood blower in it . The blower still worked but developed an ear splitting whine. This blower is an identical replacement. Has good air flow and is relatively quiet. Hopefully this will last another 24 years
