  • EXCELLENT LIGHT WEIGHT and Dry running paddle for the money
I bought 3 kayaks before shipping out to Hawaii but I decided to wait on buying paddles. Turns out that I am able to kayak across Pearl Harbor to work 5 days a week so my paddles get lots of use (twice a day anyway). First I spent too much money on some other carbon fiber paddle that is very nice; however, it does tend to drip off of the end that is up in the air. I use my kayak to go to work so I don't really want salt water all over my lunch tote, shirt and shorts (yea...I work in shorts here ha!). So I decided to buy 2 of these cheaper looking attwood paddles for the 2nd and 3rd yaks in case company wanted to use them. Today I finally tried one our crossing the harbor and WOW! I wish I would not have wasted my money on that expensive paddle. These feel just as light as the expensive one or at least close to it and at 6'1" I felt that it was a very good length for me. I think this would work down to a person 5' tall or up to 6'5" if I had to guess. One side benefit is that it was a very dry running paddle. No dripping at the top of the stroke. I felt that it gave me a real decent and strong stroke as well. I might even say better than the expensive one I bought. I ended up leaving this one where I keep my kayak on the West side of Pearl Harbor without any fear of someone stealing it because it is pretty cheap and easy to replace. I highly recommend this paddle. ... show more

  • Great value for the price
Needed to replace some kayak paddles for our two extra kayaks. Made the mistake too many times of not separating them after using in saltwater. Picked these up on a Prime Days deal and could not be more satisfied for the price. Comfortable grips on the paddles make long journeys more bearable and they pop apart easily for working through mangrove tunnels without getting the paddle hung. Comes with a great clip for storing them separated when not in use. ... show more

  • Love the grips, size of the paddle ends, GREAT.
I really like this paddle. The grips are good, the size is nice, and the white is nice. I just overall like this paddle. Will probably order this specific paddle again if this one breaks. This has a large enough end that I can keep up with most people, and I am a girl :) The pretty paddle had a tiny plastic end that just didn't cut it. I rather have functional than pretty. The other paddle is going back, and this one is staying. Used a few more times for a few hour trips. I LOVE THIS PADDLE. Better than the paddles that came with the California Board Company Kayak I got, and better than the other 50$ to 60$ paddles I have tried. I am going to get a carbon fiber because I was amazed when I grabbed my friends and the difference in weight was actually quite noticeable, but this is a VERY good deal on this paddle. It is still light and the paddle ends are generously sized. ... show more

  • Works
Ok if you kayak you understand paddles can get stupid expensive! This is a good paddle that works. It’s not light and it’s not fast. Not for white water or if you intend on just paddling a lot. If you like to still water and like to paddle for exercise than this may your paddle. If your gonna spend 6-8 hours on a all day float it’s ok, but it’s heavy if you have to paddle a lot. For the price it’s good, we tend to float flowing water so paddling is not major and this works good for that. ... show more

  • Perfect length paddle
Durable, flexible paddle. I love the length of the protective hand grip foam. Attached water barriers keep your hands dry. Two part construction for easy breakdown and storage.

  • Life saver
I bought this kayak paddle to use on my paddleboard when I am sitting down. My paddleboard only came with a paddleboard paddle obviously. This works so great and I can paddle so fast and with so much convenience very durable in the hands and I really like the comfort grips.

  • Great value, convenient, and works great.
I've had 3 of these paddles (for myself and family) since December 2020, and we have used them in and around cape canaveral national seashore. In calm water on the indian river lagoon and area lakes, and in rougher water on the banana and indian rivers. In calm conditions and windy conditions, they have worked great, and feel sturdy. They don't feel like a 2 piece paddle There is no give. I have not tried it in the Atlantic yet, but when I do I'll post an addendum to this review. I have no point of reference to compare this with more expensive paddles, since this is the only paddle we've had, but it has worked well and we're happy with it. ... show more

  • Winning Kayak Race was never so easy..
In a head to head race against my 10 year old, I smoked him with this Kayak Paddle. It says wood in the name but it's fully not wood, making it light and agile but sturdy. Out of the 5 different paddles we have everyone fight over getting to use this one. Totally recommend it.
