Product arrived in perfect condition (fall '23). I added a bit of sound dampening material along the side and across bottom that vent starts on. Ct Sounds Tropo 8 and Skar SDR8 both fit perfectly (7.2in cutout). Sound quality is very good, and it extended the usable low end of the subs. They were in a sealed enclosure prior to this. I tested the sound with different Hz tones. 38 was very strong, 35 was still strong, and 32 was where roll off started but much improved over the sealed boxes. 28hz was much softer, but the note was still plainly heard. Hope this helps. Currently running 2 Ct Sounds Tropo 8 in it with 500w amp (250w RMS) @ 2ohm. This review is for the 8in dual sub box tuned to 32hz. ... show more

$92 descent, unless it’s a custom box, I’m not building another one the price of materials and labor equals out to a lot more than $92 and it does just so happen to be real 3/4” MDF, which ain’t cheap, and the carpet has a really nice color it is .7 ft.³. not including the port, .85 ft.³ including the port per/sub, These kappa’s call for 1 ft.³ each ideally, apparently they’re not too fussy because they sound BA in this box ... show more

My first vented/ ported enclosure. I’ve read a lot of reviews on different enclosures & it came down to this BBOX or the QBOMB. Due to limited space in my 2005 Lexus IS300 trunk I went with the BBOX. Sound quality is great. 3/4 MDF on the face only then it looks like 1/2 the rest of the way around. Running two SKAR SDR 12”s at 2 ohm amp is pushing like 500 rms total so 250 rms to each 12” and my whole car is shaking. Fantastic purchase. I purchased this box to house two Kicker CompR 10's after my other painfully cheap subs started falling apart. This box looked fantastic when it arrived and the cut-out holes fit the CompR 10's perfectly. The sealant for the edges on the inside was a little thin in some spots, so I decided to go ahead and add more silicone to all the edges for some extra sealing. Not a big deal at all. This box does take up a little more room than I would like in my little Mazda 3 trunk, but it also does meet the minimum volume for the drivers I ordered. There aren't many complaints or little nitpicks I can list because once I heard my new drivers in this box... I was SHOOK! I bridged a Taramps TS 400x4 AMP to power 2 400 WATT, Skar 10 inch 2 ohm, duel voice coil subwoofers wired in parallel making them 4 ohms. My front/rear Sony coaxial speakers are wired through 2 separate Taramps TL-1500's for 95x4. The subwoofers are in THIS sealed enclosure, not ported. That is my preference. I have always liked the cone response from subs in a sealed enclosure, but to each his own. The enclosure is heavy, it's constructed of MDF. The fabric is adhered perfectly to the box with ZERO flaws. I had forgotten what it was like to have a nice car stereo. The 3 amps are very small but don't let that deceive you. In the cabin of my 96 Subaru Impreza outback, this setup will knock your socks off. Unbelievable. ... show more
