I like how smooth the throttle works now. It looks great all shiny black and flexible compared to the old faded and heat hardened original one. If I had a complaint it would be that its a little bit long. This makes for a unnecessary excessive bow in the cable. Potentially making the throttle harder to work over time. Like I said it works smooth now while it’s new but once it has aged some I could see how it might be a issue later. Over all its a good cable I would recommend if you need one. ... show more

    • Heads up for Edelbrock carbs.
Doesn't work for the "snap on" style attachment. Gotta mount it between a bolt and plate. Not for mounting with the grooved rubber grommet 4 inches behind. There's just a plastic clip on this cable. It's a just fine cable other than that. A little long but better than short. I made it work but just temporarily. No other reviews mention this that I seen. Check your mounting style before purchasing. I'm sure it works great for many applications. Quality of cable is good. ... show more

    • Good fix for my classic car project
I used these to replace the snapped OEM cable in my '73 Gremlin. It Has the correct mount at the factory gas pedal. I needed to install an adjustable throttle cable retainer to hold the cable at the proper distance from the carb connection, but I think this would be needed for almost any aftermarket cable replacement.
