Let me start by stating that I am not the type of person to leave reviews (especially bad ones). This $2600 scope and ATN have been a nightmare to work with so I feel as though I have no choice than to warn my fellow firearm enthusiasts/hunters. I called ATN before I bought the scope due to hearing rumors that SCAR 17s rifles are hard on optics. They reassured me over and over again that my rifle would not be an issue and even went so far as to say that they put this scope on Barrett .50 cal rifles and it functions flawlessly. So, I bought the scope with full confidence knowing that my rifle would not be an issue. I definitely received a faulty scope. I put this on a SCAR 17s .308 caliber rifle and within less than 100 rounds with it mounted with the ATN quick detach $100 mount (crappy and cheaply made quick-detach function) it began to have issues. First, the screen would flash white and fail to recover the image for approx. 1 min. Performing a NUC would not fix this, nor would a factory reset, or would any other ATN recommendation. Of course, I made sure I was using the latest firmware and so on. Then, after approx. 80 rounds, dead pixels began to appear in several places on the display. These dead pixels would not resolve using any resets or by using the manual pixel correction. I called ATN as soon as I had time to (I'm an RN and my job keeps me very busy). And they agreed after an hour of troubleshooting that I must have a faulty scope. So, I sent the scope back to ATN. They kept it for an entire month without any correspondence in between. If you try to call them, you will be stuck on hold for at least an hour and then you may or may not get to speak to someone. Eventually, it prompts you to leave a message that nobody is going to respond to. After a month passes, I receive the scope back without any warning. You have to be home to sign for the scope or they will not deliver it to you. Luckily, I was home to sign for it on my day off and it didn’t become an issue. I turned on the scope and immediately noticed that the same deal pixels were still dead. The scope then performed a NUC and the pixels were alleviated. This happens now every time the scope is powered on - dead pixels until an auto NUC – then no dead pixels. For $2600 I expect perfect pixels all the time, especially after it was serviced for an entire month. I find it unacceptable that ATN just patched over the issue. Anyway, I took the scope out to some private property in Texas and attempted to sight it in. After about 200 rounds of .308 180 grain Winchester, the scope began displaying double vision and would not reset. It became completely unusable. Again, after trouble shooting with ATN it was decided that it would have to go back to them to be serviced again. I told ATN that I would just like my money back and a full refund. After a couple weeks of giving me the run around via Email, account manager Kelley Mullen among others finally tell me that I can return it. She then tells me that a FedEx return label was created and will be sent to me shortly. After two days of no FedEx label, I send her ANOTHER email to which she had completely ignored. That was weeks ago from today. She has now stopped replying to all my emails and it's damn near impossible to reach someone via phone. It seems as though ATN is giving me the run around so that I’ll just give up and they won’t have to refund my money. The whole process has been extremely frustrating and is ridiculous considering the scope costed $2600. I will get my money back even I have to take the legal route. DO NOT BUY FROM ATN!! Horrible product and the worst customer service I have ever experienced from an overpriced product. Do your research, you’ll find others with the same complaints. Update: Amazon told me I was S.O.L. due to passing the return window. I explained to them that I was a nurse working crazy hours during a pandemic, and they told me there was nothing they could do. I explained to them that I was unable to get a hold of ATN and they told me my only option was to CALL ATN. I asked if they could hold ATN accountable or reach out to them due to the fact that they use Amazon to sell their products, but Amazon said no. Great way to treat a loyal customer! ... show more

I can't believe the negative reviews, I've got a clear image, great battery life. I love the one shot sighting in and the recording makes for awesome viewing later. I've contacted customer service for an item I lost and received prompt answer and am getting what I needed. I'd purchase again!!

I would give it 4 and a half stars out of 5, Screen freeze, and Accessories where the biggest disappointments. The scope on its own 7 out of 5 stars. The scope is off the charts. Great, some accessories don't work, Bluetooth, others. (i don't have rangefinder). You can see things in a new light, is an understatement. You can see past and present injuries (inflammation) on bodies. Birds are hard to see on hot days. You can see bugs in (internal) trees heating the wood, foot prints on on ground(i followed to my dogs)tire tracks too. Plants have different temps. The sun heating objects(leaves, parts of a branch, ground) are the only things that fool ya. You can see mice in the walls. Heat coming out of holes where rodents dwell, den. Even recent animal beds on ground. Very sensitive but awesome! The Scope is great and once sighted in at any range your good to go at any range. Awesome! Use a AL beer can w/ hot water for a target. Aim at top tip, shoot, zoom ALL THE WAY IN, Use an empty bulllet shell heated to put in bullet hole to see in scope. Adjust Cross hairs to bullet hole(heated shell) and done. One Shot Sight-in! It freezes and then you have to let the battery run out then, re-charge than good to go, until next time(i think humid environments are the cause) I found when (NUK)ing, place hand over lens, NUK then slowly move hand away and picture is cleared. There are tricks to Keep it working, i figured out after losing a boar hunt due to screen freeze. Camara and Video works well, I don't know how to cut and pate pic/video, but it works very well. I love using the scope (no gun) when walking the dogs (disappointed in dogs to see how many rabbits they walk right past feet away)but now i know why my bagels howl at random (not random). ... show more

Great scope. Works as advertised. I can detect heat signatures out at 1000 yards and confirm target at 500. Awesome customer service. ATN called me about 2 weeks after I bought the scope just to see if I was happy with the product. Answered any questions I had and was a really good help.

Love the long battery life and ease of use. I have hit a 3 inch steel target in the day time 3 out of 3 tries after getting the scope trued to the gun. Truing in the scope is a bit of an effort. Follow the instructions on the firmware update and you'll be fine. ATN's website could be a bit more user friendly, but you can get what you need. ... show more

Worked great until i tried to update the firmware. It crashed the scope and corrupted the USB cable. It won't even turn on. I emailed atn they never responded. I called and after waiting on hold for 12 minutes i selected the option for a call back but the phone system wouldn't allow my phone number to be entered. I facebook messaged and it was read but noone responded. So here i sit, with a useless $2700.00 scope. ... show more

Still have yet to use what is currently a brick of plastic and rubber. My unit apparently has the white, pixel floating screen of death and is inoperable. Lots of time spent on the ATN site downloading firmware, etc. More time spent on Youtube researching fixes (search it on Youtube and you'll see that many people suffer with this same error, and it's NOT an intuitive fix!). I'll bang my head into the wall for a bit longer trying to correct this brand new item before possibly returning it...but certainly wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone else after buying such an expensive item!!! ... show more
