  • My third sight pusher. This one is a keeper!
Style: Rear Sight Tool
This is a review worth reading if you need a pistol sight pusher. I have 2 other highly rated sight pushers. One $100+. Changed out enough stock sights that I refused to bang on them with a hammer & delrin anymore. Upgrading to tritium night sights? You don’t want to bang in this with a hammer. Can cause permanent damage. Hammering in place not a very accurate way either. My other sight tools work ok but both have issues & some slides won’t fit quite right. If you’ve used a sight tool before you know proper holding of the slide makes a big difference. So this ATG is very well made. Good fit and finish. Seems well thought through. Example: doesn’t just hold slide from sides. Nice round screw plate on bottom so you can adjust to the height of your slide. About a 3” round plate big enough to give great bottom support. The sides screw in to hold slide. Delrin inserts so no steel contacting your slide. Holds sides very firm. The Felton inserts are not perfectly flat, so will work on slides other than perfectly flat Glock slides. Then they go a step further and provide a 4th plane of support with a top screw (also with delrin insert) that adjusts down on top of your slide. Last the heavy duty steel pusher when properly aligned will move the tightest site. You carefully set this bad boy up and it will remove and reinstall your sights. I’ve used it now on Glocks, 1911’s, CZ75 & a SIG micro 9. Worked well on all. Probably some slide out there that won’t fit, but it would be a 1%-er. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. PS: no instructions included but intuitive setup. If your buying a sight pusher you’ll figure it out. By the way it comes with a nice zippered case with urethane foam cutout to fit tool. Extra delrin protection inserts. They’ve though of almost everything. For $60 you can’t go wrong. ... show more

  • Does What it Is intended For
Style: Rear Sight Tool
Good tool for the money. You don't need to spend lots of money on expensive rear sight tools. This does the job just fine. Its easy to use, holds the slide in place and removes and installs rear sights smoothly. It has 2 holes in the base and can be attached to a work bench or held in a vise. I used it just holding it on a table and changed the sights on a Glock 19 & 43 with no problem. Depending on the sights you may need a little elbow grease to get then out or in, however you can attach a ratchet wrench for more leverage if need be. Like any sight tool, you need to make sure you are lined up properly. I like the fact you can raise it up with the wheel base and lock it down from the top as well as the sides. Comes with inserts to protect the slide. Its a sturdy tool that gets the job done. I saw one video where the sights would not come out. Well you could see those sights had a set screw and the user never did loosen it and complained it didn't work properly, well DUH!!! Loosen the screw 1st Bud!!. Comes in a nice little carry case too. I say go for it, worth the price for what it does. ... show more

  • Sights pushed out, sights pushed in
Style: Rear Sight Tool
This seems like a pretty solid piece, especially for the money. It actually says "VISM, a division of NCStar" if you're wondering about the brand. Once everything was locked in, it worked fine to remove my rear sight. I'm taking one star off because I couldn't use it to install the Trijicon dovetail mount I got. The mount was too big for the slot, but then I got the mount jammed in during my Plan B (nylon vise jaws+rubber hammer), so I used the side of the pusher to pop it back out. Then I put my rear sight back in and used it with a laser boresight to make some minute adjustments. ... show more

  • Great sturdy tool. Worked on P365 rear sights
Style: Rear Sight Tool
I needed a rear sight adjustment tool after installing a compensator on my P365. All my shots were impacting left of where I was aiming (with perfect fundamentals). This tool worked very well for my P365, although I needed to put in some force to move the rear sights.

  • compact and versatile. no play in threads.
Style: Rear Sight Tool
It does the job with awful products like the m&p shield with its nearly TIG welded sights that are misaligned from the factory. I was hoping there was a way to adjust the front sights as well, but there wasn't a way to make the front part of the slide fit properly to push the sight out. There's no looseness in the threads and glides smoothly when lubricated as instructed. ... show more

  • Perfect tool for the job at a great price
Style: Rear Sight Tool
Fantastic product. Easy to figure out, instructions and tips are engraved on the frame to help out. Seems like it would fit any slide. Held the slide secure and with a little bit of force, popped the sights right out. Would buy again.

  • Works great
Style: Rear Sight Tool
I needed new sights installed on my slide and could only get it on about halfway using a vise and a brass punch per some youtube videos . called a gunsmith and would have to wait a week to get it done. took a chance on this tool. it was delivered next day and it worked perfectly on my slide, installing new sights is much easier now .... I oiled before using as per other reviewers advise. ... show more

  • Buy this sight pusher
Style: Rear Sight Tool
There's a lot of gear snobs in this world. This sight pusher certainly isn't perfect, but it is MORE than adequate to push sights on full-sized square shoulder slides. I even plan to try it on my Bodyguard 2.0! If you have Glocks and came here looking for a decent priced pusher, you found it! This made easy work of installing night sights on my G19 & G17. Not even 10 minutes per gun. ... show more
