The struggle is real. It's work getting this baby on. I waist train as if I were in the Olympics going for the Gold. Very thoughtful to put a measuring tape in with the order. I got a small my measurements 38 27 41. I'm 5'4" with scoliosis so the short torso of 9 inches feels great so far. I also got the 7 inch waist trainer as well. The struggle wasn't as bad with that one. Very please with both so far. The 9 inch on the outside feels like a hard plastic the 7 inch on the outside feels like satin. The waist trainer seemed very durable and well made. I am returning the size Small, however, and ordering the XS. I followed the instructions on the company’s provided guide/measurements. I used 2 different tape measures to double check my waist and confirm that I wasn’t crazy. My waist is 25.5” loose and 25.25” snug. According to the guide, I should be a Small. I was so disappointed by this product. It feels low-quality and doesn't even really do anything for me. It's tight enough to be difficult to clasp, but once it's fit, my silhouette is unchanged. Beautiful, sturdy and comfortable too! I ordered the XS. I was able to get to some second clasps in less than a week. Just keep in mind that if you have a lot of back fat like me, it may poke out. Thicker clothing is ideal since the waist trainer shows through thin clothing.
