  • HEAVY, Could be Treble, But Fun! 🎼
I ordered this little piano for my three year old in hopes of expanding his musical education. Here are my takeaways: - The piano isn’t massive, however, it is pretty hefty. If dropped, it could really hurt someone. - The keyboard functions pretty well, although the scale (the notes available) is not a full scale and a bit off. Some tunes can be played, but it’s a bit odd if you want to do anything a little bit more complicated than “Mary Had a Little Lamb” or “Hot Crossed Buns”. - It has an On/Off switch in the back. When turned on it plays a little tune. My toddler has decided he likes to turn it off and on repeatedly for the music, which can be a bit annoying after 15 times of this. - If left on, every once in a while it’ll play a little tune. I think this is a good feature to remind you that the piano was left on. - It’s easy to use, and fun for my kiddo to play with, and I think it’s a good baby step into a piano with a full scale. - For $29.99, I think it’s a good value for the cost. It’s labeled as a toy for kids and toddlers, and I believe it meets this and is a fun, educational toy in the music realm. Overall, I think this is a great toy. I did knock off one star as the weight can make it dangerous for toddlers and kids strong enough to lift it, and for the note scale being a bit funky. Neither of those are dealbreakers, as it’s been fun to guide my child along in the musical world with this toy, and the issues can be easily managed. ... show more

  • Dimentia Toy for Grandma
Color: Green
We got this for our grandmother as a busy toy to help with her scratching from dimentia. She loves it! She likes tapping the keys and she likes listening to us play it. It takes 4 AA batteries, and you need a philips head to put them in. It's a bit heavy (3-5 lbs or so), so we have to help her lift it. It's a good size, about 12 inches or even a bit smaller in length. Fits nicely in her lap! The sound is nice quality (worth the money!), and it plays a nice little song when you turn it on. Super fun, would highly reccomend. ... show more

  • Sturdy, nicely built - great toddler toy
Asweets 18 Keys Piano Keyboard for Kids, Toddler 4 year old girl and 2 year old boy are both enjoying this. The case/enclosure is made of wood, and very sturdy. A small child could step on it without damage (though I wouldn't encourage this). When first turned on, it plays a short start-up tune. If you leave it unattended, it occasionally plays something so that you know to turn it off. Interestingly, some of the notes in the start-up tune are pitched higher than the available notes on the keyboard. The keys are electronic. They engage very early, after only 1-2mm of travel. Similar to a real piano, if you release the key, the sound is immediately dampened, but if you hold the key down, the sound decays. There's no velocity sensitivity, so a soft press vs a hard bang sounds the same. You can play several notes together for chords. The wooden rest up top (looks like a music stand) can be removed. The slot can hold a cell-phone. Overall, I think this is a very nicely made toy. A great way to see if your toddler has any musical interest. EDIT: Found an interesting bug and dropped a star. When several keys together are played in a chord, some of the keys will generate a dual tone, with a dissonant note. Example. Press C, then G, then E. The E will play both the E AND an upper E-flat. Oddly, the keyboard thinks the upper E-flat is being pressed, because pressing on that key does nothing. Do this: Press C, then G, then E (you'll hear the dissonant note) - continue holding the keys while the sound fades and then press the upper E-flat - this key will do nothing as it thinks the key is already being pressed and held. I doubt many toddlers will recognize this problem, but still, it's odd. ... show more

  • Daughter loves it
My two-year-old loves this little piano. It seems all made and durable as it has been dropped multiple times and still works.

  • Too loud
Color: Green
If you’re using this with a baby/ small child, it’s quite loud, not sure if this is safe for their baby ears. You can’t adjust volume either it’s just an on/off switch

  • Mini piano
The media could not be loaded. This piano is pretty sturdy. It also looks nice. It sounds good, but is loud and there is no volume control on it. I’m pretty happy with everything except for the lack of volume control. With three kids 5 and under, one is usually sleeping and in a small house, toys like this aren’t the best. We also learned when the batteries are going dead, it doesn’t play correctly. Not a bad thing, just a warning because we weren’t sure what was going on. ... show more

  • Sounds like a real piano.
I dusted off my heart and soul playing skills and even though this has limited notes, the keys are the same size as a keyboard and the sound is the same. The construction is good. Overall a great intro into the piano.

  • Very Nice LITTLE Kids Piano but No Volume Control...
I got this for my 5 year old. Right out of the box it appears like a nice, sturdy, well made real-life Piano. And sounds like one too. He is having fun with it for sure. BUT....there is no volume control and it is Loud. Not good at all for this Mama!
