I spent roughly 50 hours, researching the best OLED monitors on the market. This is the king, like dollar for dollar if you want the absolute best thing on the current market. It has 240 hz 5k graphics with a perfect curve. OLED screen, newest technology to prevent burn in and or dead pixels. Like 100% if your ok with dropping the cash, you won't need a different monitor for years. Also for those who dislike Matt finish. Don't let that be your choosing factor, I was a little nervous at first with whites and such but this monitor gets so bright it don't matter and I dont always play in the dark so not having bad reflections mid day is rather nice. My only con is certain games don't play well like league of legends. Mostly to there being to much info. Also your gonna want a decent tower. Like I wouldn't buy this if your on console or got an older set up. I'd say something that at least pushes a 3060. Lots of pixels, 5k resolution. For myself Im running the 4080 super. But bare min a 3060 Side note: Awesome monitor with the best bells and whistles. I know people looking at these types of monitors are also looking at MSI and Alienware gen 3 oleds and this one is king. If your a moba heavy player go with the MSI. If youe between this and Alienware. This is easily better, hands down. Mostly because if has better tech to keep your screen lasting longer. ... show more

  • So Good I Bought Two
Style: Monitor
This is my first OLED monitor, but not my first OLED display. I've had the tech on phones and tablets, so I know how cool it can be, but that did not prepare me for this. WOW. Let me just say, I've been ruined. I already had a 34" 1440p IPS ultrawide that I replaced with this, and then was using that old ultrawide as a second monitor, but I had to buy another one of these because it's hard to look at normal LCD screens now. They just look so bad. The contrast is incredible, the colors are great, HDR is great in games (looks a little weird in windows, but this is a complaint I've heard from many people about many monitors). 244hz may be more refresh than most need for most games, but lemme tell you 250fps in Deep Rock Galactic on an OLED with HDR enabled is a PEAK experience. The ONE complaint I have about this monitor relates to using it with a console like the switch or PS5. So you can have it display a 16:9 27" image in the center of the screen, which works fine and looks great. The problem is, unlike my old ultrawide, it does not do this by default. By default it stretches the image which is insane. You have to open the monitor menu and go to aspect control and switch it to 16:9, and this setting PERSISTS between inputs. So when I want to switch back to displayport for my PC I have to also change the aspect control back to 21:9. All of which is more annoying than it needed to be. Just save all of my last used settings per input source, please? For me that's a minor nitpick, as I only use consoles for exclusives I can't get on PC, for others that might be a dealbreaker, so I figured it was worth mentioning. ... show more

  • I AM SO LOST WITH ASUS MONITORS
Style: Monitor
I wanted to love this monitor. Actually in a way I do love it. The design , the boxing , the intricate details in packaging and the whole build. But that’s just superficial. For a monitor , what it displays is what is the reality . And let me tell you , it’s an utter disappointment. Check my images and you will see for yourself . HDR is absolutely non functional and a disaster. ELMB is greyed out no matter what . G-Sync is chalked. The screen itself is so grainy , it just defeats the whole purpose of an OLED. I am not sure why ASUS does this constantly over and over again. Why do they finish the screen with a matte finish that is so super grainy. I read the reviews and got deceived. There was one person who wrote an honest review which I should have followed , who said the same thing. The worst part is to return this beauty and wait for Amazon to refund my money. ... show more

  • Fantastic!
Style: Monitor
First curved monitor I have ever owned as well as first oled. I was worried about the curvature at first, but found it to be very nice after getting used to it. Colors are amazing! Only issue is the price. 1,000 would be a good price in my opinion. Grab on sale if possible.

  • Do Not Buy
Style: Monitor
This was my first OLED and ultra wide monitor. I was coming from a 27 in 4k HDR Asus monitor. First let me say that I really wanted to like this monitor with all the features it offers. I'm also a person that uses this for work and play. I really liked the ultra wide looks and feel, some reviews say that the curve is way to aggressive but i was able to get used to it within a day. Here comes the negatives... I see so much hate on matte displays and i never had an issue with my previous monitor that was also matte. I cant even begin to tell you how bad it makes the screen look on this monitor. Its so grainy that it hurts to read anything on this monitor for an extended amount of time. OLED monitors already have an issue with text clarity but pairing that with this matte coating should be a crime for assault. Its super noticeable on white surfaces but even on blacks it stands out. HDR is so bad on this monitor. When you first boot it up your see all the nice colors it has in SDR and your just waiting to put this bad boy in HDR to see the difference. I was met with super washed out colors in windows and games. Asus has come out with a firmware update to fix this issue but it still didn't work for me and yes i went through calibration steps in windows. After a couple of hours i finally found a guy on Youtube that had a custom color profile for HDR. It made it look way better than the windows calibration tool however it still wasnt great and for $1300 it better be great. Im going to return this and go with the new AW 32 inch 4k OLED with a gloss finish. I would avoid unless you want to deal with the headache of figuring out the HDR and having to look at a grainy screen. ... show more
