  • The product details are incorrect as of 1/19/2023
As a composer of music with tons of sample libraries, I require lots of fast storage space. My previous build had three M.2 drive slots. And as of 1/19/2023 this product is advertised with three M.2 slots. This is false. It has two. For $500, I wasn't expecting a downgrade in the storage capacity of my motherboard which is arguably one of the most important features of a music production build which relies on fast storage in bulk (meaning numerous 4TB+ M.2 drives) to ensure maximized workflow and efficiency for massive project templates. Other feature trade offs this board makes have convinced me that I made the wrong choice and overpaid for a downgrade over my previous build rather than acquiring an upgrade. If this board had three M.2 drive slots as advertised and didn't lack a few other basic features which are mainstream to most other motherboards of equal or often lesser price tags, I wouldn't feel as cheated out of the basically $500 asking price as I do now. Lesson learned: Don't trust product advertising, not even from the manufacturer (who also lists it as three M.2 slots when it only has two). ... show more

  • Dead after ~5 months of use
Mobo was bought as an upgrade and replacement for another bad board. After roughly 5 months of use its now dead, no power, no function whatsoever. This is disheartening now that I have to pay repair costs on the entire tower and go through a 2nd RMA process on an Asus board this year...

  • A Feature Rich Quality Motherboard
This is an outstanding motherboard. It is the standard ATX form factor. The quality of the moth3board and the features of this one in particular are superb. The BIOS is very nice and has many features that enhance the gaming experience, as well as support the enthusiast. The overclocking features are robust. This motherboard has been good so far and I will update this in a few months to let you know how the build has progressed and how the motherboard has held up to the demands of daily use. ... show more

  • Great Motherboard for Gaming PC
Replaced a failed EVGA X299 micro ATX motherboard. ATX is do much easier to work with. I liked how it includes WiFi 6 preinstalled, and supports up to 8 DDR4 DIMMs. The ARGB headers are also great, and the OLED display that shows CPU temperatures. Pricey, but worth it. No complaints. My whole rig is ROG STRIX: AIO cooler, 850 W PSU, and 3080 OC GPU. ... show more

  • A X299 workhorse disguised as a gaming board (be careful what you wish for)
Very nice organized board but very pricey (because of X299) which is a Xeon without the Ecc memory support But if you are planning to go with it I suggest the Asus pro workstation (make more sense for an X299) And don`t forget the right PSU (1000W + for the I9 14 cores and up)and lots of ventilation and patience ;) ... show more
