I picked this up figuring I could save a few bucks by buying renewed. Despite the other reviews, I figured I would be OK because of the many complaints about coil whine which are probably just people being nitpicky. I measured my case prior to buying to be sure this card would fit, and sure enough it does. I also already had a 1200 watt PSU and 2 adapter cables for the power connectors on the 4090 power cable. Previously I ran 2x Vega 64 GPUs which are massively power hungry... The single 4090 runs ~2/3 the power of 2 64s at full load. I am a Folding@Home fan so that was my biggest reason for buying this card. I can say that right out of the gate, I had seen estimated PPDs of 30M+, with my ultimate average more in line with the 15M PPD most people seem to get. I'm getting 8x the performance of the 2 64s for 2/3 the power consumption. I've overclocked it. Granted this is the OC version of the card, but that doesn't mean you can't give it more. Since I fold and since I don't want my PC crashing while gaming, I went for a conservative overclock and wound up at +1050MHz on memory and +75MHz on core. I'm impressed. Fans are silent compared to the rest of my case, I even went so far as to adjust the fan curves in Afterburner to turn the fans UP. I'm hovering at around 57C with my case panel on (temps go up when I put it on), and I can barely hear the fans over the rest of my PC. Coil whine? Yes, it's there, but only when I have all the fans turned down (I like my PC cool, not quiet). Everything that I needed was in the box with the GPU. Big thick, sturdy box that I'll save for when I need to transport my PC and want to take this beast of a card out for safety. The power adapter cable and stand were there. My only real complaint is the stand... It's not quite tall enough. It reaches, but I had to pull the pin out all the way so it could lift the card up. Will probably find an aftermarket stand that doesn't have to sit on the PSU to reinforce the card. Bought Cyberpunk 2077. Playing everything on max, ultra-high, etc. at 4k with HDR. It's AMAZING. This card is a beast, and I got it for a good price. Very happy.
