After a $386 quote from a recognizable retail auto store, just for the part - I almost fainted (this going out was bad timing). I was reminded to look on Amazon …& I found this alternator that fit perfectly, came shipped fast and carefully, I had my local mechanic install it (& he said it was a solid part) …he also replaced the gasket valve covers, since the slowly leaking oil over time is what took out the first one. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SELLER AND THEIR PARTS. THIS IS IDENTICAL TO THAT IF RETAIL AUTO STORES MINUS $250 or more !!!!! ... show more

Installed in a 2009 Toyota Camry. It was several hundred dollars cheaper than from the local car parts shop. Time will tell how long it lasts but the swap is easy so I can have it die three times and break even. It looks very similar to the OEM one and connected well, warning light disappeared immediately indicating a healthy charge. I'm really thankful to the seller for this option as I couldn't stomach the $300 from local shops ... show more

The alternator was well packaged and fit perfectly. Seems well built and at least $100 cheaper than anything at the local auto supplier shop. As a tip it's recommended to get a serpentine belt wrench tool to release the tensioner because there is very little clearance.
