The package was shredded when I got it. The buttons that go inside the tubes are not secured in place, and only held by a spring clip that can slide around and allow the button to tilt out of it's hole. One of these clips did that and must've fell out of the box. So one of the uprights currently doesn't have anything holding it in. Some of the tubes were crushed, and needed to get squeezed with channel locks to get round again as they wouldn't go into the connectors. The tubes are really thin walled. The 'instruction manual' is just one piece of paper that is very thin & easily ripped, so be very careful if you actually need to look that over in order to figure out how to assemble this kit. The tubes are packed in individual bags according to where they go, so at least that part of the assembly isn't too bad. Just don't mix them up. The uprights have two different versions, so they are numbered 3 & 4. The 4's have extra holes that are needed on the outside corners for the roof panel to anchor into. I was able to put the whole thing up by myself, based on my experience with previous 10x20's. The roof frame goes together first. The uprights need to wait until after the roof panel is fastened into place and it helps to put the feet on before installing any of the uprights. This uses bolts with nuts, which are in a bag that also had a flimsy stamped box wrench. I threw that wrench away and used my own 10mm socket & box end wrench. Then the center two uprights on one side go in, followed by the center two on the other side. The assembly at that point only weighs around 50 pounds, so it's not that bad to lift while holding one loose upright. It's ok for the roof to tilt down at an angle while doing the first upright. The second goes much easier. On the other side, the assembly will again tilt down at an angle, but again not a real problem. With all the center four uprights in place, the assembly stands level with only the outside corners hanging down a little. Those last four uprights are even easier as I didn't need to lift as much weight then. I usually do the sidewalls next as they help stabilize the frame & go up very fast. The end walls need a six foot free standing ladder in order to reach the upper anchor locations. The sandbags seem to be pretty decent. I think each weighs about 30 or 40 pounds when filled with sand & gravel. The included ropes are a bit stretchy, but work ok. There were a bunch of stakes with eye loops. I'm not sure if that's intended as a tie down. I'm just going to use them as pins to keep the feet from sliding across the ground. Each foot has two holes, but if you try using two pins per foot, you will run short. I'm just putting in one pin per foot in the middle with two pins on the outside corners. I again wish I had been able to do some proper ground prep before setting this up. I'd like to have a raised pad, which will keep water from running under the walls and raising the humidity inside. My car can have both doors open far enough to get in & out of the car without any issue, where with the 10x20's I would try to park to one side so the drivers door would open far enough. So that's pretty nice. The fabric isn't that thick, maybe double a standard blue tarp. But still pretty much the same thing as far as how it's made ... show more

Do yourself a favor and weight it down with sandbags asap. I waited a week and the wind flipped one and it slid into the neighbors driveway. I ordered 2. Luckily I was able to slide it back and tie it down with everything available until I got help to flip it back upright and sandbag it. They seem super tough for what they are. Pretty easy to put together with 3 people. I ordered the 12 ft width and the space is awesome even with a Honda pilot. They are doing great with the snow so far. Really, the wind will flip these things so weigh them down. ... show more

Cheap material some small seams coming apart after only assembling. Velcro straps are cheap and probably won’t last long. For now it’s doing the job but we’ll see how long it lasts after a storm. Really large though.

    • Plastic cover is poorly made.

The frame is good and seems sturdy and easy to assemble. But the plastic covering has weak stitching at the peak on both ends. The stitching to rip out as it was being assembled. The roof portion is also cut too tight. It does not fit properly over the frame.

This is an amazing purchase if you are without a proper garage or carport. It’s easy to assemble, I assembled it by myself (frame, tarp and all, although help would make it a lot easier) and it is still standing just as strong as the day I put it up. I found some nice 1-1/2 ft. anchors to use on the four corners of this, and it really helps to keep it steadily grounded even during high winds. Great choice of a tent for what I need! I just need the tent to store hay. Building it was easy and simple. It holds up to the weather and stays dry inside which was my biggest need. The price was perfect too. Easy to assemble I put mine up by myself. Perfect amount of room to work on any vehicle and stay dry. I would definitely recommend the 12' x 20' over the 10' x 20' that extra 2' makes a huge difference.
