Used them both with resin. The book comes out awesome, the chest not so much, it’s a pain to fill the lid, it comes in two parts, the hinges have no way of hooking on and there’s no premade holes to to the screws on for the front latch. Poorly designed. Ended up trashing the chest. The book lid, you do have to apply some rubbing alcohol to the corners in the inside so the resin will stick , otherwise you will see bubble gaps where the resin doesn’t get to the corners. Aside from that, it’s great, de molds nicely.

Very unusable. Mold pieces do not stay together. There is no way to place it while it cures. It was not made with a frame or border around to hold it while the resin cures for hours. Because the mold pieces didn’t stay together the resin leaked out at the seams all way around.

I have not had any issues with these. I use clips to hold them together. Before I do the complete bottle, I do the handle, spout and "top or lid" of them first, on each piece and place under the UV light for about 10 seconds. Then do the rest. I have made "shakers", full filled and other ones out of these.

The hinges for the chest are atrocious. It took me far too long to figure out how they're supposed to attach, then when I tried to glue them in, they're uneven, the wrong size, don't fit, and when the box closes, the back sticks up obnoxiously. The latch for the front, the bronze part that screws in, has no placement for the screws, so trying to align it on my own was difficult enough, but it didn't work out, now it doesn't latch, and I can't fix the placement because I screwed it in already, which yes I needed a power tool for. The chest itself is fine, but the hinges and latch are terrible. The book is decent but the lid seems that tad bit too big where it's sliding all around and difficult to make look good. Over all, the review is for the chest, do not like, do not recommend.
