Used them both with resin. The book comes out awesome, the chest not so much, it’s a pain to fill the lid, it comes in two parts, the hinges have no way of hooking on and there’s no premade holes to to the screws on for the front latch. Poorly designed. Ended up trashing the chest. The book lid, you do have to apply some rubbing alcohol to the corners in the inside so the resin will stick , otherwise you will see bubble gaps where the resin doesn’t get to the corners. These molds are tiny, as expected! Very cute and fun to create mini teapots for charms and keychains. A bit of a learning curve and not very easy to use if you're expecting to just pour in the resin, cure, and have a perfect teapot. I used a pipette and trim/sand/polish because there is some leakage, even when i try to seal the mold with rubber bands/clips. The super mini mold doesn't have a strong seal at all like the larger one. Overall happy to have found this listing, despite the price being a bit high for two tiny molds. ... show more
