So there is a Prince of Persia reference in this game and you can use the sands of time.... Ubisoft seems to have improved at reducing Animus glitching.(There is that for you) Combat(something they said they improved): Combat is something to get good at. You have a parry, dodge is back again, heavy attack is hold and the stamina bar is back to make sure you aren't just pressing the attack button. Throwing stuff at first will seem lacking as you have to select it and then throw it, but then there are upgrades which you can customize for what you think you need out it. Skill point upgrades are back again offering a variety of useful skills like chained throwing. Also there are disguises. "Mirage" is in the title right!? Sound: Music is good and plays where it is needed. Headphones users are going to be very immersed. The natural language related to this game is here for you that want to learn and/or play the game in that language.The Arabic language that is.(note there are variations) Gameplay:Stealth is here and you are rewarded more for doing so, but your play style is yours. Investigations are for increasing your success to the main missions. Pick-pocketing is available to you and doesn't work the same for every victim. You will be back at that tutorial page, cause the tutorial play shows it is more complex than it looks. Yes, there is free roaming and you are going to be using it to get and unlock stuff on those side missions and exploration. Time to play within history again. ... show more

After recent AC games really steered away from all the core elements that made me love the franchise, this was just what I was looking for in a AC game that returns to actually being one. You are an actual Assassin (Hidden One) and stealth is the main focus of this game. No need to put in hours of side missions and chores just to level up your blade in order to do a one shot stealth take-down on a high leveled enemy. I wouldn't say it is just as good as the older games in the Ezio trilogy or Black Flag, but it definitely feels and plays like the old school AC games. After about 8 years since my last AC game I finished being AC Syndicate (which I enjoyed as well), this was such a pleasant experience feeling like an Assassin again. I hope this studio gets the greenlight to make future AC games like this one and to expand on it. Definitely 5 stars for me. ... show more

Okay, so here's the deal with Assassin's Creed. First off, let me tell you, the gameplay is like butter – smooth, slick, and so much fun. Seriously, sneaking around, parkouring through ancient cities, and taking out bad guys is a blast. But here's the downside – this game is short. Like, blink-and-you'll-miss-it short. I was just getting into the groove, enjoying the story, and then bam, it's over. I mean, come on, I expected a bit more bang for my buck. Don't get me wrong, what's there is awesome. The graphics are killer, the combat is satisfying, and the historical setting is fascinating. But it feels like they could've added more content to really flesh out the experience. Overall, if you're looking for a game with silky-smooth gameplay and don't mind it being on the shorter side, then Assassin's Creed might be right up your alley. Just don't expect it to keep you occupied for too long. ... show more

Im a big assassins creed fan and seriously have to say this is the BEST game they have made. The beginning is a little boring and slow but after like your 4-5 missions once you get into the game, IT IS AMAZING!!! Mainly stealth mode of course. Seems more real this way (unlike some past ones where you can fight like 10 warriors at once, just seemed to fake) But controlling, missions, everything about this game i in love seriously give it a try! ... show more

...with some of the modern touches!! While newer AC have expanded the series they have also exhausted me. Stories and the maps got too big and I just couldn't finish them. I don't have the time to sit with a big game anymore. This was both a pleasant return to old form and a welcome reprieve in long open world gaming. To actually be able to complete this for me is huge. The world is gorgeous just big enough to explore for a few hours and get a better layout of how to stealth around where you need too. If you're looking for a nice short but fulfilling story on top of a hint of nostalgia to the games beginning roots, this is it. Have a great time. Though while playing it I couldn't help but notice a lot of references to a wonderful Prince...... ... show more
