  • Great value for an ATX motherboard Great value for an ATX motherboard
Size: ATX Style: Pro RS WiFi
I replaced my dying motherboard with this model and it runs flawlessly with a 7800X3D and 2X32GB CL30 memory. It came with BIOS version 3.30 installed. The top M.2 slot has a neat sliding mechanism which can lock your drive in place without having to screw anything in. The addressable RGB is quite nice too (which can be turned off if it's not your thing). I did have a slight issue with the WiFi not activating on first boot. This was a little annoying, since changing your motherboard makes your old Windows pins useless and requires you to login to your Microsoft account to reset them and finally login to your PC. To get around this, I had to first connect via ethernet, fix my login, then download and install the drivers from the motherboard support website. After that it worked. So don't be dumb like me. I recommend disabling Bitlocker first, not using a Windows pin number and download the drivers BEFORE changing your motherboard. ... show more

  • Secretly faster than most boards.. Secretly faster than most boards..
Size: ATX Style: Pro RS WiFi
Extremely fast operating frequency for CCD1 and CCD2 coming in at 5100Mhz. It's faster than the Gigabyte Aorus Elite (5040Mhz) and the Asus ROG Strix (5010Mhz). For the price you just can't beat it, it dominates boards that cost double the price. It doesn't have drivers for Windows 10 and you'll experience intermittent ethernet connection issues. The drivers work perfectly on Windows 11 though. Currently running my 9800X3D at 5.22Ghz with 6000mhz ram. ... show more

  • It works!
Size: ATX Style: Pro RS WiFi
I'm happy. It's the right board for what I want done. You do have to do your home and connect the wires correctly. Aesthetic wiring is a separate and unnecessary issue, so just don't over-think it, I say..

  • Good solid board that looks great! Good solid board that looks great!
Size: ATX Style: Pro RS WiFi
A few reasons for 4 star I'll get into later, but a 5 star board overall. Excellent motherboard and with what I'm using with it I am very happy with my purchase. The board looks great, the bios out of the box supported my Ryzen 9000 series CPU, and it supports my GSkill 6400 M/T CAS 30 memory. Great RGB control! I have full control of the RGB on my memory and the 6 fans (+2 on my 240 radiator) so I can pretty much make my glass case any color I want. Reason for the 4 stars: If you're not on Windows 11 yet, you'll have to be. I was running Windows 10 Pro completely content, and holding out until much later to make the free jump to Windows 11. Did a fresh Windows 10 Pro load after installing this motherboard, only to find that there aren't any Wifi 7 drivers for Windows 10. So to get onboard Wifi working I was forced to upgrade to Windows 11. Has plenty of M.2 slots, and this isn't an issue because I have 1 gen 5 and 1 gen 4, but this board has 1 gen 5, 1 gen 4, and 1 gen 3 M.2 slots. Not a huge deal, I just found it interesting when I did my sons build with a B850 Pro RS it came with 1 gen 5, 2 gen 4, and 1 gen 3. Again, not a dealbreaker, but I thought that was strange. Upgraded to a Ryzen 9 9900X and the EXPO stopped working in the Bios. Couldn't get my memory up to 6400 M/T. Not a big deal as I was able to bypass it and set the EXPO in Ryzenmaster. • Stable with aggressive XMP settings
Size: ATX Style: Pro RS WiFi
Some motherboards struggle with stability when enabling aggressive XMP settings, but this one has been running stable with a kit at 7200 MT/s. M.2 heat sink is hard to remove, but everything else was easy to install. It looks clean, and the uefi implementation seems better than some other motherboards I own. ... show more

  • Don't let the low price sucker you in.
Size: ATX Style: Pro RS WiFi
It bricked my AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D. Bought it back in May 2025 and it had the factory bios of 3.10, setup was completed in early July, I updated the bios on a regular basis by checking for updates each month. The board had bricked my CPU the day before bios 4.10. I had used the pc setup on a regular basis with an AIO CPU cooler and proper air flow. A repair shop that did the diagnostic said that the AIO cooler, which is an Arctic radiator cooler with additional aftermarket fans, was not the problem. I got the board because it was cheap and it fit the color profile I wanted. I assumed that the issue would have been fixed by ASRock as the keep updating the bios but clearly it hasn't, guess I'm truly the fool in this monetary exchange. Do not make the same mistake I have, splurge on something from a different brand, it will be better in the long run. Thankfully I was able to RMA the CPU to AMD but I am no longer running the risk of future damage to my components by using an ASRock board until things significantly improve. ... show more
