  • Expensive, but worth it
Size: Mini ITX Style: Motherboard
Used this in an open-case build (XTIA) and wanted something that was well engineered and looked good. The build went together great and this board is excellent. Some people complain that the BIOS is a little difficult to navigate, but everything is there including all the AMD knobs and dials. The included wi-fi antenna is actually very good as is the integrated wi-fi networking - I'm getting near hardline speeds out of it. The VRMs are under a heatsink, which is a little disappointing, but for an m-itx board it's to be expected, I guess. I added a row of stick-on mini heatsinks over the VRMs (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07217N5LS) and it dropped the temp by 2-3 degrees C, running under 80C now. The m.2 heatsink looks nice but is comically over-engineered, so I set the BIOS to spin that fan down to 0 when it's under 50C (which is, always). Plenty of I/O on this board and the BIOS fan control curves are very useful. I'm very happy with how this build turned out - small footprint and completely silent on my desktop with an under-volted Ryzen 5 7600X capped at 100W/77C TDP - and better performance than stock. ... show more

  • It’s just perfect!
This is a solid buy for $190. It just exceeded my expectations. Everything worked on the first try, the motherboard automatically detected with bios drivers were need for my Ryzen 5 7600 the first time I booted on Windows 11. The driver support for all its components is amazing, and I haven’t encountered any issues since. The Rgb software controller is simple and easy to follow when setting color configs. I use Bluetooth daily to connect my keyboard and headphones without issues at all (latency is very low). I use a wired connection to the internet, but I tested the Wi-fi connection, and it works great, in case you ever need it. Anyway, you can’t go wrong with this board. It doesn’t surprise me that there is a lack of stock in this specific model. 100% recommended! ... show more

  • Almost peftect
Size: Mini ITX Style: Motherboard
This is a good motherboard, one of the best for the size and price. Two things I would like to see better. 1) USB flash bios update. I had to buy/return a CPU to get my 9800x3d to post. There is no way to update the bios without a working 7 series installed ahead of time. 2) The 8 pin power cable is far from the board. I was able to make it stretch but the power cable touches the CPU cooler. I am thinking I will have to order custom cables or a cable extension. That said, the only other boards that comes close to this loaded with extra gimmicks and frills which raise the price and make the build overly complicated. I highly recommend this board or the other B650 board from Asus. ... show more

  • Love AsRock and the Steel Legend
Size: ATX Style: Steel Legend WiFi
Great mobo, used on my brothers budget build and has more features than my B650M Pro RS mobo in my budget high end pc. Super easy bios to work with and never had any issues

  • Update: No Video Output from PCIe Video Slot
Size: Micro ATX Style: H/M.2+
This replaced an FX board in my HTPC. Works flawlessly. Can't say that about windows 11, but after 2 reinstalls of windows 11 it's behaving now. Only gripe I have is the memory slots with the single end retainer. I found it difficult to remove and reseat with the limited space in the case. Either the new memory or the slots needed a cleaning with contact cleaner to work properly. Update: 3 months after purchase. Used a 8600G cpu with on board graphics. Noted after a while that there where 5x beep codes and extended boot time during some boots from cold system. System worked great otherwise. It was nuisance so I contacted email support. After trouble shooting as directed, found that there was no video signal from any card put into PCIe slot.( Might want to try a video card even if you're using on chip video as defect check.) So it is a defective board that needs warranty replacement. Now I have entered the rma process. Awaiting a approval to ship the defective board to Asrock at my expense. The defective board is better than the rma terms. Essentially, after it is shipped to them they only have to replace it if they feel like it. After reading the 2 pages of what I am required to do to submit an acceptable return, I must say it is the most onerous one-sided process I have ever encountered. That's saying something since I am 66 years old and have a lifetime of purchasing tools, equipment and supplies behind me. Just 3 of the things in the 2 pages of rma terms that come to mind. Can't send it back in the original box. I must tape something described as "the above" to the outside of the return box. If taken literally, I need to tape several pages of text to the box. Otherwise it's not clear what it means. If there is any problem at all with the replacement board I have 48 hours to let them know. There are another 15 to 20 conditions to be met like no cross-shipping. Just have to wait a few weeks. For a $100 board, even if I get a replacement, I'm not sure I want to use it. Wish I had gotten a gigabyte or a biostar. Never had a problem with them. This is my first/last Asrock. Already have warranty replaced 2 Asus boards in the past. The only 3 boards I have ever found to be defective. Asus/Asrock are the same manufacturer last time I checked. Yep, that's strike 3. And another thing, The percentage of 1 star reviews was much lower when I purchased this board. ... show more
